I'm not a Claypool fan tbh. Think he has suspect hands. I thought he was ight with the Steelers. A second is just too rich for a player like him. I wanted the Bears to trade for Ridley. Ridley is a technician, former all pro, and the Jags got him for a 4th

that pick turns into a 2nd round pick once the Jags agree to an extension with Ridley, I think the 5th turn into a 3rd then too (contingent on extension)

Claypool isn’t our big move at WR anyways, so I don’t think it’s fair to compare it to the Tyreek, AJ, Diggs, Hopkins deals. Yeah it looks like we overpaid, but this wasn’t the Bears big move for a WR. Assuming we draft or trade for our true #1, suddenly Mooney & Claypool look great as our 2/3 options

That’s fair. I still think a second is too high for Claypool given some of the WR trades in recent history imo. I’d be sick if I thought that was the Bears big move at WR.
