Get the fukk out of here. You’re obviously trolling :mjlol: Are you saying beyonce is the best singer ever?
Where in the fukk did I say Beyoncé is the greatest singer ever :gucci: Neither her or Mike is,but I do believe she is a better singer than him.

No michael jackson and Marvin Gaye (no excuse) is just fukking ridiculous. Beyoncé does not belong on this list. And I absolutely love Otis Redding, but he gotta get dropped off to make space for those 2. Other than that. Respectable list. Thought they would put George Michael or Sting or some crazy white person up there

I have very little issues with the Top 10. I would probably flip flop Whit and Aretha but I'm not mad. Also Beyoncé belongs right where she is. She can sing KeKe and them songs easily but they cannot sing hers(and they've tried).

Now outside of that, not having Reba and Celine on there but having Rihanna, SZA and Billie Eilish is a hot ass mess. Mike should be higher but not top 10 for vocals (higher than Prince but not higher than Luther). A bunch of other ppl should be lower but whatevs.

Yes it is about stans. You're a stan, I can sense it in your reply. Y'all only care about where MJ is positioned and not about some of the other great vocalists, Black vocalists in particular who are ranked lower.

All y'all blabbering about is where Michael Jackson is placed which tells me y'all are stans, the list ain't about him.

Everybody knows where Michael Jackson ranks in general but when it comes to these lists y'all have to understand these are subjective and based on who the writers favor at the moment, none of these lists are meant to be historically final but just in the moment until the next list comes out.

Not everybody thinks Micheal Jackson is the “be all, end all” in music and that's okay...I like Michael Jackson but I don't think he's the “be all, end all” as there are artists I prefer over him and same thing with thing with Jordan, obviously one of the NBA greats but I don't look at him as the “be all, end all” in basketball.

This whole list is bullshyt. It's not just about Michael Jackson to me. I think Beyonce is ranked too high, singers like Celine Dion and Johnny Gill not making it is ridiculous, Taylor shouldn't even be on it, and as far as modern singers go, I don't know how you leave off someone like Demi Lovato and put someone like Billie Eilish.

Rolling Stone is getting trashed for this list for obvious reasons. I replied to you specifically because you made it seem like it didn't matter that MJ wasn't ranked higher and even went as far as to say he shouldn't necessarily be in the top ten. It's their criteria, it's their rules, and based on that, there's no reason Michael Jackson should be ranked at #86. Like I said, they should have just left him off the list if this is the best they could do.

Nobody said he has to be #1. If we're talking about strictly vocals, chances are he doesn't make the top ten because he's dealing with a lot of competition. But once you factor in everything else Rolling Stone used as their criteria, the conversation ends and he has to be in that class. You can't have someone obviously influenced by him, someone that's constantly compared to him at #8 and then rank him almost eighty spots lower. It doesn't make any logical sense.

I know Marvin had his demons but did he molest children? I’m asking seriously because I don’t know.

If Marvin ain’t touch no kids he don’t belong cropped in with Elvis and R.Kelly.

Kelly’s legacy is done, and honestly it ain’t worth fighting for. Michael went to trial and was found innocent. The FBI RAIDED his house and found absolutely nothing. To this day there’s no tangible PROOF that MJ ever was inappropriate with children.

R.Kelly is another matter altogether. There’s VIDEO EVIDENCE that he was a monster

He sleep with and impregnated Berry and Anna Gordy 15 year old niece. Motown and Berry help hide the fact and pushed his son Marvin III as his adopted son to avoid statutory rape charges in California. He also left and cheated on his wife Anna at 34 to date 17 year old who eventually married and constantly abused.

Maybe thats way i dont Judge R Kelly as harshly as others. Many of our G.O.A.T. have questionable past and our often problematic. Even James Brown slept with a teenage Tammi Terrel and beating her ass so much on tour that another Arist on that tour. Had to call Terrel parents to get her away from James Brown.

I made a thread a few months ago asking what the Coli thought of James Brown. My intent wasn't to trash him. He's a fukking legend. My point was that dudes will say they're not listening to such and such artist anymore because of problematic things they did, but like you said, MANY of our artists did things and we overlook it. We will cancel our own, while white people continue to not only praise theirs, but steal from our pioneers.

I'm gonna listen to whatever the fukk I want regardless of what they did. Whatever they did doesn't discount their musical contribution in my eyes.

Beyoncé doesn't belong on this list but Rihanna, SZA and Billie Eilish do?? Delusion. The hyperfocus on her as an actual vocalist that somehow doesn't belong and ignoring the clear non singers on this list is a bit ridiculous.
