out of touch with Rollong Stone? Out of touch with hipsters/white Boys who’s grew up listening to Mu Chemical Romance and Foo Fighters? A lot of The Coli is probably pretty out of touch with that type of person, we’re mostly Hip Hop heads, not kids who started listening a year ago because they had to.
It's a bit of out of touch

But it's also just for discussion RS like many and all magazines are not being paid attention

These magazines, domains be doing these things to get discussion popping and attention

Kinda like what Bdot does with his top 10 list

People just need to not gain what RS says, idk why some people even try to care.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
People on The Coli use whatever is convenient at the time.
Let Rolling Stone shyt on their favorite artist and they're right back to calling them culture vultures.:mjlol:

Fred.
I can see this being true. See the Grammy’s for example. Some people criticize them if the Grammy’s doesn’t nominate/award their favorite artist but will celebrate if it goes the way they want it to. And they sometimes do so without even listening to the other artists/projects.

Regardless, I definitely think some of these reviewers have biases and credibility issues when it comes to reviewing rap. I try not to take it too seriously but it can be problematic. I mostly try to just trust my own ears and form my own judgments of what I like and don’t like but I find other people’s opinions, perspective, and insights interesting as well majority of time.

No Vince Staples in the top 20 is blasphemy tbh.

I put it on after not listening to it for like 9 months. It’s got good bass and energy, but I switched to another album after like 5 songs. It shouldn’t be number one at all, but it’s Rolling Stone and they are way out of touch. I mean if I want to find good 60s-80s rock albums, I look at Rolling Stone best of lists (that’s their bread and butter). For everything else, I’m looking elsewhere :yeshrug:

Its a very in touch take if you're considering the fortnite playing cac hordes, thats the thing.

Got a boost when shawty from Squid Game said it was her favorite album.

That album had a strange turnaround. EVERYONE hated it when it first dropped, even his fans, now majority swear by it. Idk about #1 album tho. I prefer Die Lit.

He's not someone I bump regulary but I'd like to experience his concert. That energy is undeniable.

From 5-10 is almost troll worthy/pandering as it gets. I know how they do these lists where you throw one or two curve balls that'll make people react (B.Dot's best album list) but an album from his own fanbase panned is very eyebrow raising.

At least they gave Little Simz album some cred :ld:
