But looking at the entirety of the list tells me all I need to know...Planet Her is a pop album and Good News was a weed plate and not even her own fans fukked with that album...it's agenda driven babble. I'm not the biggest Carti fan but I actually enjoyed his first two albums...and there are plenty of avant garde out of the box albums that executed MUCH better than WLR; BOY ANONYMOUS, By the Time I Get To Phoenix, and a couple more, but these publications are lazy as shyt and want traffic. Carti is basically Lil B's final form :yeshrug:

how out of touch is the coli?

Whole lotta red probably won’t even get 1 vote in our annual “What’s the best album of the year, besides whatever Nas project came out?” Poll thread

the coli sets the bar...we dont dikkride shyt publications like rolling stone get it right:childplease:

also this album was pure ass juice:huhldup:

This shyt wasn't even as good as any of WSGs joints and I know The Coli don't even fukk with WSG like that

Rolling Stone highly rates hip hop that does'nt offend the sensibilities of hipster white folk

The kind that say that 36 Chambers is a classic but have never listened to any Wu solos

Why would you need to hear the solos to say 36 is a classic :mjtf:

because the chances that someone actually thinks 36 chambers is classic and never listened to any other wu doesn’t exist

they just want to look like what they think a hiphop head should be

I like some of carti’s songs but I could only get through half of the album. It’s repetitive as hell and the mixing is some of the worst I’ve heard on a major project.

The list looks like it was created by a intern from Montana who started listening to rap music in 2018.

It’s limited in range and skews a bit much towards SoundCloud rappers, but I’ve seen worst. Biggest problem is that it doesn’t cover a wide enough gambit of hip-hop sub genres.

It’s looks like it was written by a 22 year old who looks up to Lukas Sabatt too much. Although, I will say that SahBabii album was fire.

Facts! I checked out after Pain 1993, that shyt was some bullshyt he did. Can’t get jiggy with his new shyt.

It’s his fans’ fault. Encouraging him to do the bare minimum. How tf did we get to a point where we started praising artists for being “good at picking beats”

He was the chosen one out of Atlanta to carry that torch. I remember being a freshmen in HS he had ALOT of buzz.. but nah, he joined a dying New York collective and abandoned that sound.
