I'm not the biggest Carti fan but I actually enjoyed his first two albums...and there are plenty of avant garde out of the box albums that executed MUCH better than WLR; BOY ANONYMOUS, By the Time I Get To Phoenix, and a couple more, but these publications are lazy as shyt and want traffic. The list looks like it was created by a intern from Montana who started listening to rap music in 2018.

It’s limited in range and skews a bit much towards SoundCloud rappers, but I’ve seen worst. Biggest problem is that it doesn’t cover a wide enough gambit of hip-hop sub genres.

It’s looks like it was written by a 22 year old who looks up to Lukas Sabatt too much. Although, I will say that SahBabii album was fire.
