Rolling Stones made their career by copying from black music. You should not take their opinion on Hip Hop seriously. It's a waste of time. How come all these magazines have no specific criteria on how they review things?
When I watch a movie review I see a lot of reviewers breaking down the movie starting from the beginning till the end. I may not agree with them but at the very least they tell me the exact parts of the movie they don't like. Yet when it comes to music, none of these magazines review the lyrics, the vocals, the instrumental properly.

Just this one is good this one is bad cause we said so. Oh OK...

Like fukk them rolling stones, no dignity to even come up with their own name, just ripping off Muddy Waters :mjlol:

Wasn’t that big of a carti fan. When this dropped, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. He overdelivered on this. Classic album

Best song on the album

How is this song any different from what his contemporaries put out? Sounds like he went in the booth and starting saying the first thing that popped in his head

Btw, seems like a lot of hipsters love that album. What hipsters and reviewers in general cherish more than anything else is shyt that sounds like nothing else. I fukk with that too, but execution is similarly as important and unlike the previous album, this album was lacking in execution.

This shyt wasn't even as good as any of WSGs joints and I know The Coli don't even fukk with WSG like that

Rolling Stone highly rates hip hop that does'nt offend the sensibilities of hipster white folk

The kind that say that 36 Chambers is a classic but have never listened to any Wu solos

Why would you need to hear the solos to say 36 is a classic :mjtf:

Because it's cliche poser shyt to say 36 Chambers is a classic, but never actually listen to any other Wu Tang shyt

Anyone can say that 36 Chambers is a classic. There's a Wu Tang series on TV now, so a whole generation of young white hipster wannabes can say "Oh yeah I definitely fukk with Wu Tang! 36 Chambers is a classic!"

ME: Oh word...what'd you think about Liquid Swords (You know actually try to have a conversation about hip hop and hip hop music)

CAC: Who....who did that?:merchant:

I say this because this is an actual conversation I've had multiple times in my lifetime breh :yeshrug:
