Players don’t care about draft position. I wish y’all would stop talking like losing is an actual decision an organization makes

No consensus top pick so 1st or 2nd pick doesn’t really matter this year. And Jax could easily pick a tackle to protect Lawrence over the two pass rushers

Amon Ra turned into monster late in season. With Ragnow and Hockenson back next year offense isn’t far away. They just need that #1 WR.

Good to see Julian Okwara close season strong too. I would be surprised if #2 isn’t Thibideux or Hutchinson. Romeo Okwara should be back and natural progression of Alim and Levi. Hopefully they resign Charles Harris. Pass rush should be better next year.

Other than WR, linebackers and safety opposite Walker are lions biggest needs. Anzalone and Maybin play hard but shouldn’t be starting Lbs. Barnes seems limited. Hopefully Will Harris never starts another game at safety

The prospect of having competent LBs again for once is exciting. Man I hope we nail that position, if there was one I could pick.

Get a #1 receiver, starting LB (or two), and another safety. Basically I agree with @djthegreat88

We can win with Goff. He clearly can operate an offense with the right personnel on the field. And then after next season the hope would be to pair the two first round picks to move up and get our QB of the future.

Reluctantly agreeing.

I wouldn’t mind the cowboys draft strategy of defense in the first 3 rounds while using our second first on a wr. 4 defenders in the first 5 picks.

I wouldn't mind it, but I wouldn't mind a WR with the second 1st round pick either. Especially if a major playmaker is there. If Chris Olave or Jameson Williams are there, you gotta take them IMO. To me that one pick can virtually solve the offense. O-line is set, RB room is probably set. We need another TE alongside Hock but the most important missing factor is a #1 receiver. Imagine having Olave, St Brown in the slot, Josh Reynolds outside, a vet FA and Kalif Raymond or Cephes as the fifth guy. Suddenly you have a really good receiving core.
