I might be interpreting it wrong, but the (human) in the first tweet seems to imply that he's comparing white supremacists in the real world to human supremacists within SW, not that the Empire itself is literally white supremacists.

You could be right though, when R1 showed the Imperial officers on the Death Star, I couldn't see anyone other than white male humans so
we'll see if it's clarified in canon at some point
