But lets get back to this movie. You hinted at something that they really touch on in the movie. The psychology of it.

Imagine growing up hearing about this big ass Russian fighter killing your father. Imagine ESPN Classic showing old highlights of the fight. Boxing historians talking about "If he dies, he dies" :wow:

In the IMDB credits he's going by the last name Johnson (I guess to start the movie).

So imagine being shook or ashamed to have that name because thats the dude who got killed in an exhibition fight after dancing around during the intro :ohhh:

Imagine feeling some type of way in regards to Rocky because he never threw in the towel :ohhh::damn:


There's so much there. Lets hope Coogler makes sure this movie has a lot of depth @MartyMcFly

I'd actually be a little upset if they never went into detail about MBJ knowing about his dad's legacy and death.
