This trailer blows Southpaw away. Glad they making CREED stand on it's own, and infusing Rocky into it. Instead of trying to make a Rocky spinoff. This can be an incredible franchise for Michael B. Jordan.

I need 4 of these movies, I would love for my future child to have these to watch like I did Rocky

on the real though they need to make it socio-politically relevant to let it resonate with a particular group (ie blax or the have nots) without alienating whitey. That's the only way this turns into a franchise and stands on its own, if it's just another underdog story

One thing Jordan has to show is just a bit of charisma or charm of Apollo in this movie. Got to at least see he's got it in him.

I know technically he didnt grow up around him, but Apollo was such a showman he has to have some of it in him.

it would be dope if Rocky brings that out of him in this first movie... have him more of a straight laced pure fighter and Rocky tells him he needs to spice it up and show some umph like his father did. shyt would be crack
