I dont know if they will...if so it will be more because of that war they had and the premature death of Corrales..but if you stack up their accomplishments to others...they are more on the outside looking in. Both great fighters in their era....but short primes. Corrales was a killer though when he fought Floyd and to me is Floyd's best win.
Either way, save for Pacquiao, he's never had a prime HOF'er around him. And he most certainly is an ATG.

Floyd was ducking Vivian Harris Brehs

Don't talk to me bout him getting ktfo after the fact

At one point he was undefeated N Floyd didn't wanna fight him:troll:

Floyd doesn't take fights he thinks are tough, then those tough guys lose to bums, but I still think Floyd should have fought them :troll:

anybody can get KOed...and Hearns got it twice...with Hagler and Barkley...thats it...thats not numerous...thats twice. He was TKOed in a 15 round fight....not KOed cold. All guys were punchers. I like how you always bring up a fighters final record as if the career Barkley had after Hearns rematch meant something. (Barkley had a 62% KO percentage of his wins FYI...thats how you calculate KO percentage...not by adding in fights where he lost....obviously thats not a KO in his favor) Barkley was from the damn hood. He won the 168 and 160 titles within 2 months of each other....lol. Aint nobody doin shyt like that today. Then he got rich and fell into the party and drug scene. So....Hearns got KOed by a 3 division champ, and two HOFers.

Furthermore, Floyd is not the GOAT defensive fighter....I ignored you the first time...but cant let u slide this go round. Pernell Whitaker even at WW was a much better defensive fighter than Floyd...and we aint even talkin lightweight where Floyd struggled with JLC...a guy that wouldnt lay a fukkin glove on Sweet Pea. Pernell was unhittable...and didnt need a shoulder roll and didnt fight against a bunch of slow Mexicans or guys like Mosley and Mitchell who were past prime and didnt have the speed they were once known for.
sparring means shyt....nikkas come in camp outta shape and shyt.... I seen sweet pea overweight like hell in camp and getting touched up. a lot of people looked good in sparring against Roy too.

Floyd was in no way a better defensive fighter than Pea....not getting touched up by Emanuel Burton he wasnt...one of the few unorthodox fighters he wasnt dipped in molasses slow.

pay homage

How many times has Floyd been dropped, are you gonna act like Roger Mayweather aint give Pernell all hell abd put him on his ass, not to mention Tito beat the shyt of of that nikka and having that nikka sit on the bottom rope

As far as Floyd not being the best offensive and defensive fighter by numbers you talking out your ass

@Skip b....breh, please dont bring "stats" up as a reason that Floyd is the best offensive and defensive fighter.

Dont do that:ufdup:

Compubox stats dont compare with the quality of opponent that you are fighting, because using Compubox ALSO it shows that Canelo Alvarez is currently the 2nd best defensive fighter in Boxing today......is this what you are cosigning breh?:usure:

In your opinion right now is there a better defensive fighter than Floyd? If so, who?

Guillermo Rigondeaux.....the most talented boxer in boxing right now is the best defensive fighter imo. But, Floyd does have a strong case for being #1.

But guess what, Compu Box stats arent what I used to determine that. I use my eyes and knowledge of the sweet science in order to observe and come to that decision.

What I'm telling @Skip b is, dont use "stats" in boxing to try and prove a point, because the same stat that he's using.....me as a Canelo fan could run around saying that after Floyd, Alvarez is the 2nd best defensive fighter in boxing today. Because the stats say so (and they do)

Do YOU believe that Alvarez is the 2nd greatest defensive fighter in boxing? If not, then you cant use Compu Box as your basis for saying Floyd is the greatest. You cant have it both ways. Either Floyd is the best and Canelo is 2nd best or Compu Box "stats" arent valid, because like I said, it doesnt account for quality of opposition or where the other fighter was in his particular career at the time of the fight

IMHO Floyd is #1, but yeah, I base my sh*t on fights too, which is why I can't believe nikkas is saying Mayweather would have been an average boxer in the 70s :why: Right I think Floyd is the best, of my generation that I've seen, I'd also give nods to Pernell and Bernard. And nah, I don't think Canelo is #2, but I do think he makes for an interesting fight though due to his size.

This nikka Skip using compubox stats to prove his point :lolbron:

By that logic, Chad Pennington is the most accurate QB ever because he has the highest completion % :skip:

Roy Jones was basically 49-0 before he got knocked out. That dq to montell griffin was bs. That being said Floyd ain't even as good as Roy was. Floyd is just a better promoter. He's fighting bums getting people hyped. Scared to fight pacman. This guy hand picks opponents and people fall for the bs.

How many times has Floyd been dropped facing top number 1 after number 1

And how many times Rigondeoux, and Whitaker with his shaky ass resume been dropped
