This is how I know you Floyd stans dont watch fighters other than Floyd. Maybe you need to watch Victor Ortiz vs Marcos Maidana. The nikka QUIT in that fight....how the hell would he have been the next big name when to everyone who follows boxing, he was known as the nikka who quit then said after the fight "I dont deserve to get hit like this":dahell:

Who had Guerrero beaten? When the best fighter you ever beat was Andre Berto....that says alot. That fight had the biggest Floyd odds by far out of all Floyd's PPV fights. nikka, even Vegas didnt give him a chance:heh: He's slow, not a boxer, not good defense, no head movement......it was the 2nd worst beating Floyd gave a fighter on PPV. Glorified sparring session and horrible match to watch:snoop:

Mosley beating a Margarito, who had just been busted for illegal wraps, isnt saying much. Without the wraps Margs is a different fighter obviously. Says alot when 4 months after losing a decision to Floyd Mayweather, Shane Mosley had a DRAW against fukking Sergio Mora of all people:snoop: Last 10 years, Mosley is 9-8 with 1 Draw and 1 NC:scusthov: Is that a prime Mosley to you?

Victories over whom though? Mayorga, Yuri Foreman, and a Margarito with an already injured eye (which is the reason the fight was stopped)?:ohhh:

Cotto hasnt been the same since Margarito and then Pacquiao beat the hell out of him in 2008 and 2009:damn:

Dont let Floyd tell you he's "undefeated" in his eyes, because Cotto's body STILL has the wear and tear on it from those fights. He was beaten out of his prime, imo, in those 2 fights. He was never the same fighter. Let's not forget Cotto was EASILY beaten by Austin Trout 7 months after fighting Floyd. He's washed up. That's why.

I didnt discredit everything Floyd has done..........I add CONTEXT to what Floyd has done. You stans just throw out names, but dont add in the fact, circumstances, and situations surrounding the fights in order to make Mayweather look as if he is the GOAT and he's not.

HIstory will not be kind to Floyd's resume, because fortunately, Boxing is one of the last sports to be STILL ran and WATCHED by more real Boxing heads than casual fans:ohlawd:

It works both ways breh

Floyd was "ducking" Baldo a true Welterweight

Floyd would never fight DLH at 154 he's too small N jus wants attention

Floyd is "ducking" Hatton N his awesome foot work N body attack

Floyd is scary of Shane hes stuttering when Shane called him out

Floyd will never fight a young big undefeated champ like Canelo

Do nikkas take those Ws in context or do they say Canelos green, baldo a bum, hatton was trash, dlh shot etc etc....

Both sides of the argument be on bullshyt but history will be kind to Floyd... too many current boxers N trainers say he's the best:jawalrus:

Its okay for Roberto Duran to quit, but not Victor Ortiz
he lost, he was young fighter, and he had bounce backed

Andre Berto is still a name in the sport, just because you don't like him doesn't mean he's not a tough kid, dude is still young as fukk and has a future in the sport

you gotta an excuse for everybody in the fukking world

He beat Oscar who weighed in at 168 the night of, after giving into all his demands.

You still gloss over the fact that Cotto weighed 168 pounds, Cotto still got fight in him he was rail roaded by Austin Trout, he just put up a fight against Canelo
the young lion
You really want to compare Cotto at 142 to 168, dawg thats over twenty pounds of MUSCLE

Floyd Mayweather cannot even make 154, he be like 152 153 in those fights, 147 is his max weight, he CANNOT POSSIBLY put on twenty pounds of muscle
and weigh 167

So if Cotto can go from 140 to 168, its obvious he is severely trained at that weight, which is why he always had stamina problems their
why didn't Manny decline the rematch at 152, put he had no problem taking it for Margarito at that weight

You forgot that Floyd is older than his last 3 opponents, he facing the youngest champs the game has to offer, now he facing Canelo so his last four fights have been against
people in their physical primes when he is no longer in his phsyical primes, he fighting guys in they 20's and he's closer than 40 than to 30
SRL never did that neither did Pernell, they could never beat the young up comers when they were in the same position

I do not understand what you are saying breh. You just typed a bunch of stuff, but what exactly are you talking about?:ohhh:

As far as Roberto Duran, I've already told @blackzeus that Floyd is the better fighter and would have beaten EVERYONE that Duran beat. He would've beaten SRL 2-1 (which Duran lost 1-2), beaten Wilfred Benitez, and Esteban De Jesus. I think he would have went 0-2 against Thomas Hearns and Marvin Hagler though because their styles and them being in their primes would've been too much for Floyd.

Other than than, it's like you just started ranting breh. I'm confused with what you are saying the rest of the way:dwillhuh:

You already know I said Floyd gets all the props from me for taking the Alvarez fight. No excuses if Floyd beats him:manny:

I dont remember the "Floyd ducking Baldomir" talks....I always thouight Baldomir was a bum and he got a lucky victory over an unfocused Zab Judah.

I remember the Oscar talks, and I though the Hatton shyt was garbage. Hatton as never skilled or big enough to beat Floyd. Floyd did what he was supposed to do and what I thought he would do, good win:yesrhug:

Shane was washed up by the time of the that fight, Ive always said that and wont change the facts that he was.

Floyd IS the best fighter our Era.....Floyd stans says he's the best all-time. There's a difference breh.

Listen you simpleton, I brought it to show it don't matter that he quit. Roberto Duran quit, don't make him any less of a man.
That was a HELL OF A FIGHT Victor quit in, they were beating the hell out of each other, and he broke. He was young as fukk, he still is.
not to mention Victor at WW is a different fighter than 140, for one his body was soft at 140, and at WW it is not the case, he looks like a fukking
running back

All I'm saying is, you can't discredit none of the guys Floyd beat, without being completely baseless

If Canelo beats Floyd, you gonna be like you see, he lost when he finally fought a real threat, but nevermind these nikka is damn near 40 years old

I can tell you don't follow the sport, Victor Ortiz was heralded as the next Oscar De La Hoya, he's a star even know, only other fighter on TV shows besides Floyd
and Pac before he get KO'd.
When he lost that fight, he took a hit
put he came back BIG TIME in a HIGHER weight class

I wouldn't scramble for reasons for a lost thats what you do in every thread, a loss is a loss dawg, win is a win you do one who refuses to accept that

Is the nikka not damn near 40? With that being said, I don't see Floyd losing, personally I don't even see it being close. :manny: Floyd finna make a statement with Canelo the same way he did Gatti, Hatton, Guerrero, and all the other "big punchers" who were finally gonna give Floyd his just dues. Then nikkas gonna switch it and say Floyd is duckin' so and so :manny:

Victor Ortiz was known as the dude who quit to BOXING HEADS after he lost to Marcos Maidana. Yes, he was hyped but after the loss, his heart was questioned and still is after him "quitting" against Josesito Lopez.

I never scramble for reasons for a loss.....Broner is undefeated:umad:

I'm not making ANY excuses either way and will not allow anyone else too. Yes, I'd preferred to see this fight happen in May 2014, when Alvarez was a little older with another "good" fighter in his resume, but he accepted the fight so be it.

Floyd accepted the challenge and if he wins, against a naturally bigger fighter just entering his prime and the #1 fighter at 154lb, Floyd deserves all props for the victory.

It's not fair to bash him for not stepping up from the Guerrero's/Ortiz's/Old Mosley's/Washed Up Cotto's, then he steps up and wins, then bash him for winning.....I dont do that:yeshrug:

If Floyd wins, which I'm betting that he does, he deserves all the accolades for winning the fight. Same for Canelo Alvarez.

Im not talking bout you breh but therr is nikkas in here that wanted Floyd to fight Dlh at 154 then fight Hatton at 140...crying bout his opp in his first fight at 147...the same nikkas saying "oh I knew hed beat Hatton N Shane" would be bytching up a storm if those fights never happened

Its aiight to shyt on a Floyd W cuz you knew this you knew that but say why Floyd didnt fight someone who had a recent L or was 3rd or 4th best like Stevie Johnston or Freitas N its styles makes fights you dont kno what will happen :dahell:

Ill be the first to say i dont like something Floyd does....Guerrero fight, Canelo catchweight

Floyd gets way too much hate for things thats aiight for other fighters....lets imagine Floyd fighting someone coming off a L N a draw N putting it on ppv...lets imagine Floyd fighting for a vacant belt at a catchweight...lets imagine Floyd refusing testing dude would be Barry Bonds status in the media

There's as many Floyd haters as there are Floyd stans.....reminds me of my boy Kobe Bryant:ohlawd:

Both are irrational and hard to argue with.

I wish Floyd had a stronger resume, because to me, he does have some "misses" on there (not to be confused with ducking).

Regardless......he's still the greatest fighter of HIS era (Broner's "Reign" has just begun:lawd: ). That's something everyone should agree on about Floyd. He's the best fighter of the 2000s.
