Off topic, since we're going to be waiting around for a few more weeks until we mere mortals get to see the film, I was reading an interview with Eggers recently where he said he can't stand watching The Witch now because he felt he was inexperienced at the time. If he put out a perfect product like that and considered himself inexperienced, then he really has set a high standard for himself, and it really speaks to his incredible talent and vision as a filmmaker. Given his reflections on The Witch, Eggers' growth as a filmmaker will surely make Nosferatu an unforgettable experience.
