I know this was Eggers passion project and while the movie is the closest thing to a masterpiece, why does Orlock look like Soda Popinkski

This movie got a lil creeper to me

So my daughter waking up from a nap, and she fiddle with the remote cause I left it in there, and she' starts crying, wailing, so I check in there right, and the peacock app is on cause of her fiddling, and the movie is in the preview on the home screen and she is not having that shyt she's just as scared as the lead female, I'm picking her up to calm her down and the opening scene is previewed, where Lilly is moaning and she calms down, the orlock shows up and my daughter is terrified and I shut it off quick, had to rock her for like 5 min, she's only 17 months mind you.

Now the whole thing hits a lot different having a young girl in a mad world myself, I'm interested in seeing the extended cut though but I gotta watch that shyt while my wife at work cause she hated the scene where he killed the family

Extended cut is like 4 mins of extra footage. I hardly noticed any difference

Just listened to Frames Per Seconds review of this.....Myke's theory on Nosferatu representing the chick's depression and her succumbing to it in an act of suicide so she's no longer (what she views as) a burden to others makes a lot of sense. Makes the movie a bit better in hindsight.

Damn I regret not getting a chance to see this in theaters. Movie is a masterpiece. Eggers is definitely in my top 3 fav directors.

Late pass, Caught this on a plane trip back from UAE bc there wasn't shyt else to watch... and i was amazed.

Kinda boring at first tbh but once dracula with the zangief accent was introduced, i was thoroughly entertained. And yes, i know it's German not Russian but i couldn't help but think of a flabby zangief off the riods every time dude spoke lol

Lead lady was phenomenal in this. Didn't even realize she was the same one from that trash tv series with the Weekend

I know she's whasthisnames's daughter so she set for life regardless but hopefully this performance helped cleanse her of any stench that show gave her

Also, what type of castin couch bs is that mf'er quicksilver/kraven on? He literally in every other damn hollywood movie. He either jewish or fukkin someone jewish who runs hollywood

But i digress. The acting was great and the creepy parts were creepy. I didn't fully understand what happened at the end but, reading this thread, some of the theories yall had i guess works.
