This was a gothic masterpiece:wow:

Lily Depp might have stolen the Oscar from Demi Moore, that was a fukking tour de force, Glad I went in pretty much blind, I only watched the first trailer.

William Dafoe is so fukking good, crazy how it took his later years and artsy directors for him to be properly utilized.

Like most of eggers movies still hype over substance. It's not a good movie, the story is poorly delivered.

He had it setup on a platter again and because he suffers from a mind virus instead of just carrying on with the dracula story he does a dumb ass twist where a monster kills himself by acting completely outside of character smh.

Same stupid shyt he did in the northmen with the mom twist
That is literally the ending of the original film:stopitslime:

Str8 trash and should be watched with captions on..couldn’t understand a lot of the dialogue smh

This.

I tried last night.

Movie has horrific clarity issues.

That the northman could have had but were much more clear. In comparison. I turned the shyt off...this shyt nowhere near the northman.

I could not even figure out whut tha fukk was going on.

It is like.
it had rhe same pisspoor clarity of the bram stoker movie.
from back in rhe day that flopped.

I tried.
Had turn it off, and go watch creature commandos instead.

Not even sure I try again.

Not feeling the lack of clarity expreience

Lol, I literally state that I'm comparing it to Bran Stokers novel dracula and you talk about Nosferatu the film. Smh

It's like you literally ignore what is being argued.
We are talking about Nosferatu the film, why would this movie have to follow the exact same story as Dracula? and yes I'm aware of the origins of the 1922 film and the copyright shyt, but Nosferatu became its own thing and this is a remake of that thing not an adaptation of Dracula.

I am talking about what I am talking about. I stated it. If you want to talk about something else great, but don't talk to me about a argument I am not making because you refuse to read.

i keep hearing that it was boring and people were laughing when you are not supposed to laugh

It's a tad boring. In hindsight, it makes little sense for the vampire to call her husband to Transylvania if he already had a link to the wife.

He could've just come over to Germany. Or if they stuck with that plot, they should've had the wife go with the husband as a ploy to get her to his castle.

this was super mid. breh it feels like literally every movie I've seen this Depp girl star in has been underwhelming at best. she aint it.. needs to do more supporting roles instead of being a lead. her head shaped like a traditional ass museum skull tho.. i see why they put her in horror movies.

other than that, how many of the same cliche ass jump scare are yall gonna put in the movie. I'm just trying to get to the next scene and then boom a mouth wide open loud ass jump scare that's played out af and doesn't even last long enough to be memorable. you gotta make those creative if ur gonna put so many in.

then for the first half im like... damn where tf nosferatu at.. whats all this other bullshyt about. just got old girl convulsing and being weird in the corner for 60mins.. definitely not for me. the ending was beautiful, and in general the movie is breathtaking visually.. but The First Omen is a much better retelling of a classic horror imo.

Now that was a good ass movie.

Stop skimming breh.

Y'all really need to stop this cap'n ass shyt y'all do around here.

Where you do not read.
Or skimming posts.

It is obvious.
The false narrative coupled with neg bias theory. To try to aid your bullshyt fails.

This goes f'oh all uv y'all.

Stop it

nikkaz really wonder how i put y'all throughed't it.

you can not bite my stule. The only thing you can bite. Is the fact. you must read the content.

This a message board. If you want to watch a public access channEl style take of rhe movie. Then go find a video titled review of the film. Then post dialogue to that video's comment section.
Alternatively... This is a message board.
You have to read the messages.
Plus no one can believe your draw on the internet. If you skim and show a lack of braintrust. As well as fail to digest.
the other users content to properly respond.

This whole idea.
you can be ignorant 24/7.
to the top here is a pipe dream. To succeed here. You have to at least respect the content available and read it.

Not skimming it.

Read it.

If you liked the film or even felt disappointed. Watch The Damned. Found it a much better film while also being just 90 minutes
