So 11 media votes decide how you judge a player...very logical :mjlol:

Know you're being sarcastic, but the levels of stupidity over the past few days have been astounding. He's a one trick pony because he didn't win FMVP? Imagine going through life with that level of reasoning.

I think some of Rob's opinions are trash, but Rob has been around the league for 30+ years and seen legends like Mike in his prime, Magic in his prime...along with Kareem, Zeke, Malone, Hakeem, Kobe and Shaq. There were folks legit trying to say Steph was the best PG in the history of the league...Rob has seen enough actual greatness to know Steph doesn't belong with those names at all.

Isaiah has two rings, a 24.2ppg nba finals average, 1 finals mvp, 0 league mvps, 19.2 ppg career average

Steph has 3 rings, 26.6ppg nba finals average, 0 finals mvp, 2 league mvp, 23.5ppg career average

“Doesn’t belong”

Karl Malone made it to the finals twice and got ho’d by pippen with that mailman doesn’t deliver on Sunday line
Had home court advantage and couldn’t beat an old tired injured bulls team that had just gone 7 grueling games against the pacers :scust:
Had the lead in game 6 n got the ball stolen by the goat and flopped trying to bait for a call
Then got desperate and joined the lakers to ring chase and tried to fukk kobes wife

“Doesn’t belong”

Kobe averaged 15ppg in an nba finals series and was outplayed by Austin croshere, Jalen rose and Reggie Miller. Statistically the 4th best player in 2000 and shot 40% :scust:
Stephs absolute worst finals is not even close to as bad as kobes
But sure let’s say Kobe was injured and that’s the reason he shot 40%
Was he injured in 2001 when he shot 40%
Was he injured in 04 when he shot 38%?
Was he injured in 08-10 when he shot 40,43,40%

“Doesn’t belong”

I can go on but you get my point

I am seeing a strong correlation between the posters who dismiss numbers and analytics as "cacology", and the posters who are offering reactionary takes worthy of only the barbershop, where fact doesn't matter as much as the narrative or the joke. Makes it easy to know who to ignore honestly.

Steph's numbers don't mean as much as a Rachel Nichols finals MVP vote breh.

No that it's all over I can trash talk Steph.

Steph Curry is a true system player. He can't create his own shot.

Ball movement is better, but the luxury of dumping it to one guy and he executes is priceless.

How many points that one trick pony average in the finals?
You just gotta face the facts. Steph is not a GOAT. how many poor finals performances is it gonna take for you to understand that?.....it's not about the stats. It's about his demeanor. His lack of confidence. Dude flat out plays scared. Once his shot is taken away, he gets nervous and looks for KD and Klay to bail him out.

If he even had one great finals performance I could see the other side of the argument. But steph has played like shyt in every single one. And It's the same exact thing every time. He gets D'd up, frustrated, and nervous. In that order.

It's not even up for debate anymore. He's just not on that level. Being a GOAT is not only about the physical, it's about the mental. And that goes for any sport. That's what separates floyd from his peers. There were a lot of guys more physically gifted than floyd. But none of em could ever fukk with him MENTALLY. The goats just have something special in em. Something steph curry does not. The sample size is now big enough to come to that conclusion.

A guy that types his name LiKe ThIs just said Steph is not “a GOAT” so the debate is over

Y’all can close this thread, EtErNaL just made it official
