NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Agreed. It's not good enough looking to justify the specs
that's my problem. it's not the fact that going into the new gen that specs would have to be beefier to max games out. it's the fact that these games don't look too much greater and in a lotta cases worse than the best looking games of last gen. I don't see the justification. especially for shyt not being able to run smooth at 1080p.

I mean I have two of the strongest cards you can possibly buy and I can't hit 60 fps at 1440p? That's absurd

I don't think the shyt looks great enough to need a damn 980ti to run it decent on very high but hey. that's the story of this gen. lol.
do you think devs shouldn't include options for those that have 6+gb cards?

It's not about including the options. It's about optimizing them for the cards. If two titan Xs can't run your options, that's a problem. :yeshrug:

Hbao+ and tesselation shouldn't be taking a big hit like this though. :yeshrug:
those settings aren't particularly taxing

but other settings have higher values than what's available on the X1. because that's what people expect from a PC version. but the combination of turning everything up is very taxing. never the less it's still an option

some people might have a gsync/freesync monitor, where 60fps isn't so important. some people might be comfortable locking the game to 30fps. some people might turn everything up for screenshots, even though they're getting 'unplayable' framerates. should all these options not be available to PC gamers?

Just maxed everything out and started the game. So far the graphics are not that much better than the X1 version. Granted, I've only played for 2 minutes, but it is what it is.

I mean @Ciggavelli has 2 of the best cards u can buy on the market right now. 12gb of vram and can't max the game at 1440p. that's a joke..lol

12gb should be sufficient for 1440p

And to crank things up to 4K (3840x2160), with Very High textures and max settings, we'd recommended GeForce GTX TITAN X GPUs with 12GB of VRAM, as usage can near 10GB over prolonged sessions.

obviously there's other factors besides texture quality and vram
