JimmyV breaks down game 2 of the NBA Finals and how Lebron needs to step it up. JimmyV notes that GSW is not even firing on all cylinders but they are still handling the Cavs. Kosher thinks that the sweep may very well happen even though he picked GSW in 5. Both hosts pay tribute to the late great Muhammad Ali, and tell some of his greatest quotes. So much action in the UFC Kosher talks all about UFC 199 and the biggest losers and winners. Oh yeah and Brock Lesnar is back in the UFC and will be fighting at UFC 200.

It pains me to agree with you. Although I'm not into rap the way I used to be I will always love classic rap...but its true.

I cannot think of one mainstream rapper that stood for something the way Prince did or Ali did like you mentioned.

Before someone mentions Pac...let us be honest he actually sold out from his roots after signing to Death Row.

Cats love to support the latest street cat that makes c00n statements, but when it comes to challenge white supremacy in a deep way, they absent or make excuses like "I gotta pay the bills"

I just finished watching an Ali interview from 1981 and then another from 1991 with Bryant Gumbel. In the 81 interview you can see the early onset of the Parkinson he has slurred speech and he has some slow movements. In both interviews he is still very charismatic even in the 1991 interview where he can barely could talk

The Ummah!
Listening to espn radio this morning, the white dude was going on about how he didn't agree with Alis politics, and that changing his name wasn't a big deal, he was clowning people online saying Ali left his slave name, and all that, saying Casious clay was an abolitionist, that's who Ali was named after. What that cacazoid doesn't understand is, do you think Muhammad Ali would have a name like Casious Clay if his ancestors weren't forced here and forced to convert to their religion, to their lifestyle? Cacs are so racist, its not even funny. Cowards.

Ali had been exhibiting symptoms years before that..Thrilla in Manila took Ali out of his physical prime, his fight with Earnie Shavers made him shot and damaged...a big reason why he lost 3 of his 4 fights

espn 30 for 30: muhammad and larry really does a good job of showing the events that led to what happened to him in the Larry Holmes fight in 1980...its tragic and borderline negligent

I wasn't aware for some reason I didn't think he showed signs until later in the 80s. I don't know a lot about his later fights other than he didn't look good and I heard he should have stopped fighting earlier
