The airline decided against the safety feature(s) and y’all believe Boeing is liable...:ohhh:cool.

Im curious, does this disgust extend to blind spot warnings and pedestrian sensors on cars?:mjgrin:should all safety features be standard on everything?
The airline companies shouldn't have to choose to pay extras for "features" that stop the planes from going into a sudden nosedive.
:gucci:

This is a small example of the type of shyt that could happen when shyt isnt getting regulated. Companies dont give a shyt about safety and the welfare of people, that's why regulations (which you oppose) have to exist.

It's like buying a car and having to pay extra for a "feature" that keeps your car from suddenly veering left at random.

:snoop:It is regulated...

It’s becoming clear that regulatory failure is invisible to liberals. Several posters have commented on this tragedy by saying Boeing needs to be regulated, or this is what happens when there is no regulation.

The FAA must just be another regulatory waste of taxpayer money... based on the statist comments in this thread.

The government literally not figuratively or metaphorically certified these planes as safe...

:deadmanny:@ the resistance to faulting the state. At least blame all three, Boeing the airlines and the state.

I never said the FAA wasn't partially at fault. Boeing shouldn't be selling needed safety features as optional for more money.

You're always arguing that the government has no business regulating shyt like this as if companies like boeing could be trusted to do the right thing on its own. They slapped together that trash ass plane in a few months, knew the shyt wasn't very safe, and sold the extra needed safety precautions as features for more money. This is a small example of how companies would react if they operated with no regulations.

Everything I've seen regarding this gas stated that the FAA let Boeing self regulate due to lack of resources to properly do there job. Regulatory agencies have been losing money in every recent budget. The fact that things like this happen is why we need better regulation not no regulation.

And why I only fly with Air Canada or similar airliners. Thry aren’t cheating out on shyt like that. Also top flight pilots.

What a tragedy. It’s one thing to die cuz sometimes shyt happens. It’s another thing to die cuz mafukkaz were too cheap.

What a privilege

Its ok maybe Boeing with get a negative review on yelp. Free market!
:deadmanny:The FAA has officially ceased to exist on the left as the “free market” has entered the discussion for some strange reason.

The government regulators literally gave zero fukks and signed off on these planes... and are receiving little to no flack...

How do any of you expect regulators(or anyone) to be effective if they aren’t held accountable to the people they are beholden to. You can write all the regulation you want, but it’s only as good as the people enforcing it.

Government employees should already be in jail imo
