The airline decided against the safety feature(s) and y’all believe Boeing is liable...:ohhh:cool.

Im curious, does this disgust extend to blind spot warnings and pedestrian sensors on cars?:mjgrin:should all safety features be standard on everything?

When it's a object that carrying hundreds of people thousands of feet in the air, across vast distances, and over residential areas, yes the shyt should be standard.

Boeing decides to release a product with a fundamental design flaw that they patched up via software, and then charge extra for "features" that ensure said software is working correctly?

Now after heavy losses of life, and profit (I'm sure this is the priority), they're going to standardise those features to get the planes back in the air?

Where the guillotines at? :martin:

seems like regulations are needed, I'm sure lobbyists have fought like hell for this bs status quo

this whole situation is so rotten and there is so much blame to go around
The u.s. don't regulate shieet , the euros will give Boeing that work for putting lives at risk

You two are like Murtaugh and Riggs for gaslighting, bad faith arguments. “Lethal Weapon: 4” where you expect Murtaugh would have retired by now, but then remember that he is Libertarian, so to show how committed he is, he rejects SSI, while Riggs decides that he is going to scope out ladies restrooms, to protect them from transgender people, and in doing this, meets the love of his life, one of the little girls that he is “protecting”, so he has to defend his relationship with a 13 yo girl, the twist, she was born a male, and he leaves heartbroken, not because she was 13, but because she is a transgender!

So all those people are dead cuz a company wanted to save a couple bucks. What a fukking shock. I hope the families of the dead get paid.
Greed on both sides. Boeing should have included it and the airlines should have bought them.

The thing is these were smaller airlines that may not have had money for things that weren't considered important enough to be standard safety features. It's up to regulators to not allow them to skip those features and not allow Boeing to sell planes without those features.
