another reason this movie gonna flop....i'm glad, now get back to making a good alien movie.....

"The Counselor" flopped and this will Flop. Hopefully this puts "Prometheus 2" on the fast track. Ridley needs to just stay in Sci-Fi. He's normally good with Historical Epics (Gladitor, Kingdom in Heaven) but I just can't take anymore whitewashing Egypt movies seriously. It's a great cast but wrong for a movie with this subject.

If ignoring the fact the story of Exodus is fictional, based upon the Bible it was NEVER definitively stated the time period NOR even stated who was/were Ruler(s) of Egypt! We only say "Ramsese" because of the OLD Ten Commandments film. The TRUTH is ancient Egypt was indeed the epicenter/melting pot for virtually all races. That was just a fact. It wasn't all Black and for damn sure wasn't all White. Based on LOCATION along with being not just one of the very FIRST, but most successful ancient civilizations, if would be very naive that only one set race was EXISTING there. shyt even Cleopatra was white and SHE was an Egyptian pharoah. And even if she wasn't she integrated with Europeans which leads me to believe there was some integration among the people there, and with no assumption how deep or far it went.

And I say integration is because Moses, someone of a DIFFERENT race of people, was raised under the ancient ruler. He, himself was integrated.

So this so-called outrage isn't or shouldn't be too much to cry over. Hollywood always whitewashed its biblical figures, so that's not anything new. And the last Noah and Jesus movies that came out earlier this year were whitewashed. But AT LEAST give Ridley Scott SOME credit it for at least having a multicultural cast with the vast majority of Egyptians being portrayed BY black people and having a logical reasoning based upon location and cultural history of that country being a melting pot.

gotta say Ridley Scott's descent has been painful to watch, but this seals the deal: he's done. I'll probably see this on DVD one day just to see the battles.

Yeah I had him in my top 8 directors pretty much my whole life...but after the Promethues cash grab (oh i know lets make a movie that is supposed to be an aliens origin...but then say it's a stand alone movie...then use the entire movie to just ask questions about the aliens franchise instead of answering them...and then make another movie after that to answer the questions ) and then this Exodus B.S....I don't think I can even waste bandwidth on this dudes movies...

Breh, let me tell you something...we hop in the Delorean...and we go back to Egypt long ago...turn the dial back to however far you want...you think we going to run into an Australian white dude...because that is who Joel Edgerton is...he's a white dude from Australia :usurematteroffact:

Think we going to run into somebody who looks like Sigourney Weaver :usurematteroffact:
