Sanchez definitely did not play well in the 2nd half of the Colts game. He was better in the 1st half but Schotty went away from everything that worked, did not take advantage of plays and packages that he could have and Greene got hurt after he was running well.

2nd half the Jets were leading and only down 20-17 going into the 4th so they werent really out of it at all until mid 4th...Sanchez struggled but Schotty did him no favors....I dont put that game on him at all...I actually came away impressed with him in that game :ld:

The second half he played well. We just were way behind and Schotty didn't call a good game. The fact they didn't keep attacking a rookie corner on Braylon was disgusting. He threw that pick after we were down ten. Other than that, he actually played well.

As far as Rex...him and Tanny went all in on Sanchez....Tannenbaum is definitely a goner and I think Rex doesnt want to be a lame duck coach. He had a ton of flexibility to do what he wanted personnel wise with Tanny overseeing him. Rex needed to have Kyle Wilson. Needed Kenrick Ellis....all of these picks have Rex's hands on them...John Conner....the Holmes signing.....Rex isnt blameless.

WIth a new GM Rex's balls are cut off. Which probably wouldnt be a bad thing but I dont see Rex as a flexible guy.

I think people try and ignore the fact that Rex had a lot of influence on the personnel side, Tannenbaum was smitten by him and was a numbers guy to begin with.

I wonder what that has to do with my point if you're saying they're not quitting.

No one has accused the Jets of quitting on Rex unless one is to manufacture that right now.

None of your musings on the Jets has ever said they quit.

Like I said....If a coach felt that way, you'd see quit in the team which I haven't seen.

I`m not gonna say they quit, because flat out I do not know that, that performance was pretty damn lackluster against a bad defensive team though.

I think he has lost the team though, he admitted to that last season and nothing has changed this season.

Dog..you swear you know everything about the inner workings with rex and his relationships, but you don't know what you're seeing on the field now?

:krs:

I haven't seen the Jets lay down this season and I'm not about to manufacture that for arguments sake. Let that be your job.

They gave 11 sacks to SD man.

11, I`m not saying they quit, but how the fukk do you give up 11 sacks to San Diego?

Our defense has a lot of good pieces--our coaching is just terrible. That with a first QB with McElroy made it the perfect storm.

This thread is pathetic by the way.

Sanchez didn't lose any of those AFC Championship games for the Jets.

That's a lie.

He was absolutely horrendous in the Steelers game, his ineptitude in the first half allowed the Jets to get into that huge hole. I think he was like 2/10 with a fumble for a TD in that first half. Almost every drive was a 3 and out.

Now he picked up some points in garbage time when Pittsburgh was playing soft, but he was a huge part of that loss.

Hes been a head coach for 4 years been to two afc title games you act like dudes went 2-14 every year

While i agree hes done some weird shyt this year results wise overall you can do much worse then him

Yeah he knows nothing about offense but youd be surprised how many nfl coaches only concentrate on one side of the ball and have the other coaches handle the other

The offenses problem isnt the gameplan as much as the personnel sucks, the offense was good enough the first two years even under a rookie qb because the personnel was much better
I agree with this completely.

I think Rex Ryan will be great at his next HC job. He went to back to back AFC title games, winning on the road in places like New England and Indianapolis, and now we are saying he needs to go back to being a DC because thats what he is? :russ:

IMO, I think Rex Ryan learned a lot of lessons during his time as the Jets head coach, and will apply those lessons learned at his next job. He has already calmed down the bombastic rhetoric he was known for before.

I agree. I said the same thing earlier. He's a first time head coach and is learning on the job.

The Jets defense were horrible in the first half. That fumble was the most retarded play call on the planet.

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
I'm sure his daddy :beli: has a spot for him, after all the years of acting like a fukking clown it would be quite a humbling experience for Rex to go coach up the practice squad or something.....

yeah, that is very underrated. Its his first head coaching job at any level.

Dude needs to control his team better, and he needs to stay out of the personnel decisions, but dude can coach. There is no ifs and buts about that. And he is a good motivator.

he's a brilliant strategist on defense and a good motivator, that said if you even watch his press conferences, the dude drinks his own kool-aid too much, never even gives solid logic or reasoning for his personnel moves, he's out of touch and expects ppl to buy the BS he's selling. he'll be a good coach but he needs to adjust his philosophies

The Jets defense were horrible in the first half. That fumble was the most retarded play call on the planet.

And it's still fumbled by the man carrying the football. A playcall could be awful but the guy who fumbles the ball is responsible for the fumble.

The Jets defense was bad in that game for sure, but the offense was even more abysmal. I could bring up the stats if you`d like, the offense absolutely put you guys in a hold and couldn't keep the defense off the field.

For the first 28 minutes of that game, which lead to a 24-0 lead for Pittsburgh this where your boys stats.

3-11 24 yards, sack, fumbled for a TD

That brought yall to 24-0 with 2 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

Don't try and tell me Sanchez wasn't a huge part of that loss
