Just got back...Compared to the last 3, I thought it was decent:ehh:

Lockdown was a cold piece of work:wow:

Best Transformers villain by far

Low key, other than Optimus, might be the most likeable character in the series....Even though he was a "bad guy"

Galvatron seemed generic as fukk in comparison

I gave ROTF a 3/10

DOTM 4/10

I give this one 6/10

shyt was longer than God's to do list, tho.

The 1st one still holds the crown with 7/10

Duuuuuvaaaaal!!
Movie started out EPIC as fukk, then nose dived about a quater into the movie.
Even the cgi got worse. Pure stupidity. The ad placement made me sick. It was totally a least common denominator movie. Them mufuccas actually clapped afterwards when the movie ended. :stopitslime:

One of my favorites of all time and showed it to some young bucks a week ago....needless to say they were glued to the screen. Nonstop action and death throughout the entire film plus that soundtrack. :banderas:

"Megatron must be stopped...no matter the cost."

Prime:salute::to:

Doesn't miss a single shot. :smugdraper:

its crazy how AMAZING that 30yr old cartoon movie is. that scene is better than a lot of shyt that has followed it. i still hate rodiusprime for gettin my guy bodied

The idea of them hunting Autobots is just stupid and they had them dudes cruel af for nobreason
Humans creating Transformers? :mindblown:

Lockdown gets killed, but there's still a giant mothership with who knows how many aboard that just gets forgotten about as Optimus Supermans into outer space... This nikka outta nowhere decides to start flying :wtf:

I have no idea how you can complain about CGI though, pure IMac beauty. The only thing about the series to get better each time

As a transformers fanatic I'll give this movie a 4/5.

It's better than Dark Of The Moon but still leagues short of the first one. They did a good job giving the Autobots memorable character traits. The best new autobot was Hound. His scene where he fights to the last of this ammo was great. Without Sam around, they let bumblebee take a back seat to let the new bots shine. Drift being a triple changer was cool and a nice surprise. Crosshairs had a good scene as well.

The dinobots were cool visually but I wish Grimlock actually talked. Still they were shoe horned in the last 15 mins. They will probably take center stage next time.

Lockdown was the real star of the movie for me. He stole every scene he was in. A monster, cruel and to the point, a way better villain than Megatron.

Kelsey Grammar was dope in this too. His character had motive and drive.

Mark is leagues above Shia but the daughter was annoying and the boyfriend was a waste. He didn't need to be included at all. But mark did his thing. Great actor to me.

Galvatron. Can't wait to see what he does in the next film. He was dope in this one for his small role.

As a whole: the movie was dope. I go into a bay film expecting action, explosions, car chases, barely dressed women and cheesy one liners. I got what I expected. My only gripes:

1) 2hr and 45 mins. Way too long. Some parts could have been cut.

2) I miss the decepticons

3) I understand prime was mad but his I'm gonna kill everything was a turn off.

4) the Chinese part was not needed at all.

5) Grimlock not saying anything

Tucci was a gem also. Him and Lockdown and Hound were the best characters.

For a set up movie for a new trilogy, it did it's job. We had a plot with resolution and also some open ended questions to be answered.

This really disappointed me. That attitude really lowered Prime's God status for me. Prime never had a lust for violence. It was all about being a just and honorable warrior. "I'll kill you" made me literally :scusthov:

I had to sleep on this to really get my thoughts together and I'll start with this: Michael bay has no idea how to balance character and spectacle anymore. As of now I really wish he'd do a transformers movie without humans because that shyt brings this movie down.

The action is dope and the man knows now to make a gorgeous looking movie from top to bottom. I liked the idea of s bounty being put on Prime's head, the CIA creating a shadow organization to take out all transformers and having the reaction they did to the events of the third because it mirrors our country's reaction to 9/11 and racial profiling etc. Lockdown is that dude and clearly the best part about this movie and the best new transformer they added to the bunch with John Goodman's transformer being a close second.

While I understand Prime's new outlook on killing it wasn't something I can say I was cool with but it worked in context so I can ride with it. I prefer this cast to the old cast by leaps and bounds especially Kelsey grammar playing a straight douche of a villain. But with that said it's when characters start talking that the movie goes downhill and started to bore me. Every damn character minus Mark's, Kelsey's and Prime seemed to act just like the transmorphium: whatever the scene needed that's who they'd be. Stanley Tucci went from a ballbuster to comic relief. The boyfriend(so boring I forgot his name already) went from this hardass willing to do whatever to protect his girl to a cowardly lion type whenever the movie needed a laugh or needed to make Mark's character look better. He and Cade went from having bro moments to pissing contests constantly and it never made sense. One minute he's lecturing Cade about what type of dad he is and the next he's acting like a complete bytch. He's willing to show plenty of PDA in front of the man but scared to tell him he was creeping at his crib?:why: There's another scene with the two of them that bugged me but I won't spoil it for anyone but if you've seen it, it's the scene where they commence the rescue and try exchange some more words that make no sense. The daughter was completely bipolar as well although she wasn't completely worthless.

Bay has this tendency to pause the action to have these character moments that just don't work in this movie or have his "comic" characters become so annoying that I wish they'd hit the bushes and a few of them do in this movie thankfully. The corny humor from the first three is toned down a lot which is great but a lot of the humor that's in it didn't work for me. I laughed at parts but it was a lot of swings and misses. I know these are popcorn flicks so I don't need or expect excellent dialogue but it would be nice to get ok dialogue and consistent characters and this movie misses the boat on both fronts. I enjoyed it but not as much as I wish I would've and at basically these hours there's not enough character or action to keep my attention because the second half of this movie is rather meh compared to the first half which was cool and dope

That was bay over reacting to people complaining how Prime didnt care when Jazz and Ironhide died in the first movies. I understand his temporary state of fukk the humans was a driving point for the movie but I guess we are just used to the noble first but be do what i gotta do if I have to Prime.
