thing is...with the way alex's contract is structured...if he falters in some wayI keep hearing that Kaep isn't ready. He probably isn't. But to run this offense, I don't see how he would flounder. We run a very basic offense that asks the QB to go to their primary read and either tuck the ball and run/throw it away if the read is covered.
We run the type of offense a rookie can play in. I don't quite understand the "OMG Kaep isn't mentally ready". I'd agree if it was any other offense, but this offense pretty much takes the thinking away from the QB.
Obviously Alex is the guy and it makes no sense replacing him as long as the team is improving, but if it's still the same hoe hum by the end of this year...then we need to make a move. HarBaalke will make the right decision...
or is proved to be inferior to kaep (ie thru injury) we can easily replace him next year with kaep.
