Brehs, I know we're not going to see Kaep and I'm not saying we should see him. But the way our offense is...yall don't think he could come in and succeed? Alex is a vet and has more experience, but the system doesn't ask him to do much thinking. We need to either let go of the leashes and tell Alex to let the ball fly, or just put Kaep in if we need a robot to hit 5 yard outs and bubble screens all the way down the field.

Kaep can't read defenses for beans but he has the physical tools, it's kind of a no win situation. I think what you said at the end of the post is what we'll ultimately need to do. We can't treat Alex like a starter by commitee (though he is). We gotta teach him to play with his heart and not with his mind. Harbaugh has to the leash off, the stat's won't be as pretty he'll throw INTs but this is why we got Moss and Manningham, and I don't want to see Crabtree not getting his due while he's healthy. We need to reutilize play action passes and ditch the shotgun. Alex is a pro and we gotta treat him like it. If he cracks under the pressure we move on and if we win games, we enjoy the victory.

No one is calling for Kaep you fukkin idiot.

Randy has been open so many times this season and we still have clowns here saying he can't get open. Also, the dude can "go up and get it" so you can pass the ball to him if there's 1 on 1 coverage. That hasn't happened.

Play calling sucked, defense sucked and so did our QB that has been catapulted to epic status.

Like I said...we're not going to have the same great turnover ratio as we did last year. If the D is OK and the run game is stopped, we lose.

Whoa let's not resort to name calling.

Ultimately this is a game of scoring, we're not getting the turnovers, and we're not going to run the ball as well, unless Hunter sees more carries and we get get James and Jacobs going. In other words Alex's performance will determine the next 3 or 4 games, imo. We gotta take advantage of not having Revis play us next week most likely.

It was directed at LE, and you damn right I'll resort to namecalling where he's concerned.

I think there's no need to panic, we were cocky and got taught a lesson

We tried to attack their weaknesses instead of play our type of football, we weren't perfect in them first 2 weeks either we got a long way to go, it starts in ny next week

Look at Flacco making big throws like it's nothing. I want that in a QB.

I was trying to be nice to LLova because he's always crying about me making threads, I was gonna let him do the last one then the troll swooped in and made the thread.

I`ll be back on my grind from here on in, I got lazy for the Vikings, just like the team did

Ravens fans are unthankful bytches though, I would sacrifice Alex Smith and his future children to get Joe Flacco, and they treat this guy like he's Caleb Hanie. Well not anymore, dude balled out last night. But then again, John Harbaugh knows what the fukk he's doing.

Flacco didn't show greatness until that playoff run last year, but he is hot right now and he looks to be developing to that next level QB.

You also have to love his weapons (Boldin, Tory Smith, Jones, Pittah, Rice & Dixon)

Flacco always had the physical tools and I thought when he was drafted, he'd arguably be the best QB out of his class. It took longer than I expected but actually guy has been a solid QB since basically year 2, but his weapons are putting him over the top. Dennis Pitta is like Todd Heap on steroids or something. Put dude on our team and :wow:

Flacco made thorws last night but he also had some luck. he had a coup[le interception negated by the Pats defense. Especailly the one when he threw it up to Jones on the left and overthrew and it was abotu to land in the Pats dedender hand like a faircatch but the defender jsut tripped up. He make that interception and th egame is over. McCourty dropped a foruth quarter interception as well. Flacco shuld had at elast threw interception last night. Luck plays a hgue role in this game.

But i agree about Smith. He has weapons and need to start utilizing. Youll never hear it, but he has one of the the receiving corps in the league. They just dont get the props becasue they dont get the opportunities from Smith . He made some throws the first two game that I didnt think he was capable of previously. Abandon the shot gun formation, and get back to balance playcalling. Baltimore offense is what San Fran's should be. Only differense is the qb play. Or moreso the qb's willingness to make the tough throw. It all jsut comes down to confidence in your ability to get the ball to your receiver.

Yeah, you look around and damn, they can be scary good.

Tory Smith is a beast, we don't have anyone who can do what he can.

Yes, we do, but our offense is too conservative, and Alex does not have Flaccos charged mega-buster of an arm, nor does he possess Flacco's confidence to make those throws.
