we've been beasting lately but our thing is still to win ugly close games. didn't get it done at all today, but if Frank hadn't fumbled after the Vikings went up 24-13 initially it could've been a different game.
Props to the Vikings tho, I told you fukks it was gonna be a close game while we got this fukkin guy makin a Road To A Perfect Season thread and shyt. Logically I know the thread title had nothing to do with the outcome of the game but in my heart I feel like fukk that guy forever for bringing instant bad karma on us.
Ugly game coming up next week too. Alex against the Jets D...we need to dominate TOP as well too because the Vikings had the ball all fukking game. That was our thing last year. We better run the ball down the Jets throats all day and get us a nice 13-10 win.

Suddenly our schedule doesn't look easy at all anymore. Our whole division can play as tough. We fukk around like we did today and we might even miss the playoffs

I saw the replay of the game online and realized some things:
We were cocky. We came in that game, not having done our homework. I expected us to play a game like we did in 09 where we win or lose by 3. But we lost by 11. They were the better prepared team and they won fair and square, shytty officiating aside.
Staley is a good left tackle, despite the bad game. Jared Allen is the best pass rusher in the league and better tackles looked like fools against him. Dude had 22 sacks last year, nuff said. I expected better but fukk it, bad game.
Alex Smith didn't play well but let's be honest. I blame the playcalling more. Christian Ponder played just as average, but the running game came through, which leads me to my next point.
Frank Gore is still a very good back, but he needs to split carries with Hunter and we need LaMichael James and Brandon Jacobs back full speed to give a few different looks.
We need to play to win. We need to take shots downfield a lot more. If Alex Smith can't do it then we need to give Kaepenick more snaps, because I think he can ultimately. Alex Smith plays smart and minimize the damage, but we need gamebreakers to show up.
Quite frankly, our our front seven especially our D-Line is overatted. We have a good pass rushing crew, but with the loss of Parys Haralson, our run defense suffers, furthermore we need a true nose in this defense. Again, I'd like us to work out Albert Haynesworth, we need a space eater, because if a recovering back like Adrian Peterson can do that to us, we'll lose to the Seahawks and maybe the Cards.
The Vikings are a better teams we gave them credit for and they're gonna sneak up on a lot of teams.
We got work to do.
This isn't 2011 and we ain't catchin no one by surprise anymore.

Brehs, I know we're not going to see Kaep and I'm not saying we should see him. But the way our offense is...yall don't think he could come in and succeed? Alex is a vet and has more experience, but the system doesn't ask him to do much thinking. We need to either let go of the leashes and tell Alex to let the ball fly, or just put Kaep in if we need a robot to hit 5 yard outs and bubble screens all the way down the field.
