more than likely Alex is pissed off with management and Harbaugh, for trying to take his job a 2nd time in a year without coming to him with it. And the fact that he's watching his replacement do what he does but differently.
I think it's too easy for us to say that as fans of team and think that everyone should be a team player 100% of the time. No no one gave Derek Jeter too much flack for wanting essentially a max contract despite him being an aging (albeit still good) veteran. He wasn't thinking about his team, at that moment. Imagine you are been at your job for the past 8 years, you are not the best at it but you've stayed with the company despite all the internal bullshyt that has stunted your development. Over the past couple of years you've done a very good job in face you've quietly been ranked among the better performers in your company and some young prodigy comes in and takes your spot based a couple of homerun deals, he becomes the bosses golden boy and takes your spot. You wouldn't be just a little salty?
its business. you can be salty but dont have to showcase it to the world
in business world, if someone takes your promotion spot, and youre sour-faced about it and clearly disappointed when the guy does well, you might get fired altogether.
a black qb would be crucified by now for doing the antics alex was doing yesterday on the sideline

I think dude has to be disillusioned by the whole thing.
They go after Peyton, but then say "Alex was always our guy".
They sign him, but the second he gets injured they're pushing him out the door.
I`m sure he probably wishes he was told his job was on such a short leash before he signed his deal.
But he didn't show case it to the world, the cameramen went out of their way to focus on him, that's why I think it's overblown, just like in that Cardinals game, when they made a big deal about I think it was Derek Anderson was laughing on the sidelines, when the team was getting killed.
kept his helmet on almost the whole game as a sign of protest
Like I said last night, as long as we keep winning I don't care who's at QB, but if after 20-5-1 NFC Championship game they'd do this to Smith, better believe they'd do it Kaep.
Where do you get some of this shyt from? Sign of protest?
why did he wear a helmet ? dude was waiting on the sideline for a nba-like substitution or something, ready to come on the field in case of a ck fukkup. why ?
different situation there. I defended DA on that one. alex knew well its a national tv game, there would be attention to him, and kept his helmet on almost the whole game as a sign of protest. unless he really is retarded
again, I usually dont care about shyt like this, but this goes against the "good guy alex who never is pissed when he is benched/takes whatever comes at him" thing.
To show he was ready and wanted in the game.
That is far from a "Sign of protest".
meh well have to agree to disagree. I think alex looked pissed and didnt try to hide it at all, in fact he wanted to show that he was pissed. he looked disappointed when colin scored the rushing TD.
to me, its not team material, at least from 'good person' side of things. like Ive said I usually dont care much for that, but for a 'good guy' who 'never complains' this was a showcase of complaining
Cant be mad at alex for not being into an end of game chant like that.
Personally i don't think he should've lost his job because he was hurt. He played well before he got injured and we were winning. Kaep is dynamic alright, but it's going to be his first playoffs like it was for smith's last year. I would like to go in with Alex having another year of experience under his belt instead of starting fresh with essentially a rookie(start wise) going into his first playoffs.
