We're already pretty much in the playoffs tho, Cards and Seahawks are declining

True. Still, the Hawks still have 3 home games left, all against division teams. I'm not sure we'll beat them this time around so I expect them to finish 9-7 :merchant:

PS: Rams game is at 1 PM? AGAIN? :what:

We better not let Steven Jackson run a train on us again :birdman:

Man, if we win this next two games (no gimmies at all, but very winnable) we are pretty much in the playoffs.

I thought Sop played a good/decent game today, so hopefully Stephen Jackson doesn't come in and crush the buildings.
The Saints had been running the ball well, but we pretty much shut them down. That bodes well for us going forward.

Great win today and the defense really stepped up this game. Glad to see Justin and Aldon wreaking havoc on Brees, along with Ahmad, too. Ray Mac had a solid game, too, with pressure up the middle. I thought all of our guys did an outstanding job.

I like that Kaepernick is spreading the ball around, but I'd like to see him use Crabs a little more. I think the more we get him involved the better it'll be for everybody, but overall I like what I saw today from the offense.

One thing that can't be understated is that in 2 games Kaep has been sacked 1 time. If this was Alex, he'd have been sacked at least 8 times in 2 games.

It's all about that #2 seed.

Chicago vs. Seattle this weekend, that's a win win for us any way you slice it.

Chicago wins and it helps us in the division, Seattle wins it helps us gain cushioning as the #2 seed. Love that game.

I think we're gonna come out hungry vs. STL, there wont be any catching us off guard like in our first matchup. They coming off a big win over AZ too, I like how it's setting up.

Yea the Rams could be a spoiler team, we can't be asleep in St.Louis. I think we beat them this time around.

I think if anything the Dolphins possess that upset ability more than the Rams, we just went toe to toe with the Rams 3 weeks ago, so I don't see us sleeping on them.

I expect a win against them this weekend, anything else would be a horrible let down.

Hunters injury looks like an ankle...probably won't miss any significant time. Williams might be done for the season, though.

Hunter, Williams sustain injuries

NEW ORLEANS -- The 49ers' victory may have come at a cost, as receiver Kyle Williams and running back Kendall Hunter sustained injuries that could keep both players sidelined for an extended period.
Williams sustained a significant left knee injury and was immediately ruled out of the game. A source told CSNBayArea.com that Williams injury is "not good."

Hunter had a left ankle sprain, and was seen on crutches and wearing an orthopedic boot. Williams and Hunter are expected to undergo MRI examinations on Monday.

The 49ers have some depth at running back, as veteran Brandon Jacobs saw his first action of the season. He carried once for 1 yard, but he could be counted on as the primary backup to Frank Gore for as long as Hunter is out of action.

Hunter is having an exceptional season as Gore's backup. Hunter has 371 yards and two touchdowns on 72 attempts for a 5.2 average.

Williams' knee injury is feared to be more serious. Both players were injured on the same play. Williams was a blocker on Hunter's 2-yard gain late in the third quarter.

Williams has been the 49ers' No. 3 receiver. He also took over the return duties Sunday after Ted Ginn's muffed punt. Coach Jim Harbaugh said Ginn was taken out of the game due to a wrist injury.

Not surprise on Williams, it looked bad.

But this is the beauty of having a first round talent as a redshirt, a lot of talent just waiting to play.

If Hunter can't go, LMJ activation?

Adlon leading the league in sacks, 16.5 with 5 games left.

He needs 6 sacks in 5 games to tie Strahan's NFL record.

We got St. Louis, Miami and most importantly AZ still on the schedule, can he do it?

VD has always been staunch supporter of Alex, but he also said Kaep was the man after the game last monday. I'm not sure how serious we need to take VD

Yeah, but he is the leader of that offense.

Look at any pre-game, there is 2 guys who command the attention of that team, Davis and Willis.

I think he feels bad for Alex because they been through the ups and downs together.
