Sorry today was not a pleasing win at all. Defense rebounded yes, and our run game is still great, but Alex is clearly who we thought he was. It's gotten to the point where he can't even be trusted to look for plays in the redzone. Our QB situation is a disaster that will kill us against any decent team. Only reason we didn't put up way more points with our run game moving like it was today was Alex, period. He fukkin sucks and this 7 year experiment is an embarrassment. Longest leash to a subpar QB in NFL history.

We have to pray we don't face a team with a good D and competent offense in the playoffs.

Alex is a garbage QB, but he plays just decent enough to not get benched. It's frustrating.

That said, Seattle's a top D so.. :kanyeshrug:

I'm not making excuses for Alex, but division games are always harder than non division games, IMO. You also can't overlook the fact that the Seahags have/had the #4 ranked defense coming into the game. They're solid. However, Alex needs to step it up...and if he's reached his ceiling, then Kaep needs to be starting.

I'm not expecting him to dominate against a good secondary like the Seahawks, but its gotten to the point we concede points because of his inability to do anything but check down. He's holding our offense back its as clear as day. How isn't it obvious that he's reached his ceiling? We've seen him for 7 years!! That's almost a decade. This is who he is. Any other team would've cut ties long ago but we want to keep committing to a failed reclamation project. fukk Alex Smith.

The biggest tell were those QB draws in the last 2 drives. Even Roman and Harbaugh were like " fukk it, just don't fumble the ball Alex".

Naw I actually agree with you to me they have the best secondary in the league. I'm not even criticizing Alex's performance tonight. But the niners invested a lot in Kaep by drafting him in 2nd round, and I'm just wondering at what point do they plan on starting him if ever.
