i'm actually looking forward to division play man, seattle and arizona aren't gonna let us walk away with the division like last year. i'm actually rooting for the rams when they play these two, we need some breathing room that we're not seeming to get

We can't go back to the 5 ,7 step drop backs against Seattle man especially win Staley out idk what Roman was thinking against the Giants u not gonna have that kind of time . Gore only had 8 carries and VD had like what 2 -3 targets. We just need to go back to our bread n butter power running game we will bounce back.

Yea we need to keep it simple, none of that cute shyt, no breaking put Kaep in and out.

I might ask, since when did you start contributing to 49ers threads?

I think we need to make some moves prior to the deadline, we need either a run-stopping LB, or a fat fukk of nose tackle, because our remaining games, have power running offenses. I also think we should look to acquire another O-Lineman depending on Joe Staley's health. I think Brandon Jacobs is unneccesary, he's done nothing for us and we don't really need him, so I think we should cut him to be honest.

I`m totally for cutting Jacobs, like you said, he's added nothing.

I don't know about needing a run stopping LB, I think we`ll be just fine against the run and the Giants game was an example of a tired and beaten defense.

The only problem is when you talk about acquiring guys, anyone with some value is probably already on a roster or a practice squad. Some point you got to dig in with what you have and make scheme/gameplan adjustments to fix your problems

I think the loss of Parys Haralson was a bigger deal than may have realized, dude was a tank and he was good at filling up running lanes and punishing backs.

Yeah he was a good LB, also Aldon as a specialist was more fierce because he had more energy to go full speed ahead for the QB.

I still think we`ll be okay, RayMac has been real silent this season, the defensive front definitely needs to step up soon. You can tell Fangio feels the ineffectiveness because the last few games we been seeing more blitzes with secondary players

Yeah he was a good LB, also Aldon as a specialist was more fierce because he had more energy to go full speed ahead for the QB.

I still think we`ll be okay, RayMac has been real silent this season, the defensive front definitely needs to step up soon. You can tell Fangio feels the ineffectiveness because the last few games we been seeing more blitzes with secondary players

I think Ray Mac is a rotational DE more so than a starter, I think his play has benifitted from the rest of the D being so good, but I never was high on him as a starter. I think he's as good as he's going to get. But I am also aware we can't have stars in every position. I just think we are not going to make as much noise this season. Every team got better this offseason, especially in our division. I mean think about, we're in the bottom of the league in terms of actual sacks and we allow more rushing yards this year than last year though we are about the same in points allowed. But either way our defensive strength lasy was the ability to create pressure with only 3 or 4 rushers. Once we start using these exotic blitz packages, we put all the onus on out CB, who while they are good, just are not elite cover guys, especially if the pass rush has been neutralized.
