When you apply for a car loan through a dealership, unless its 0.9%, anything over that, the dealership is legally able to add up to 2% interest rate. This is how most dealerships make a lot of their money. Not on the cars themselves. If they sell the car for sticker price or above and on top of this, they make incredible money. So when you are negotiating a car and you think you got a great deal for $3000 under sticker, while a good deal, they are making $5000+ off you on the interest rate.

So if you have mediocre credit and they offer you 12% interest rate, you really got approved for 8-10% or maybe even lower, they start higher because they make you focus on the monthly payment more than the actual details. So example if you got approved for 6% interest rate, they might come out and say 12% because then it gives them room to lower the monthly payment to what you want, while still never lowered the price of the car ANd they get to keep 2% interest rate (aka they just made $10,000+ profit on you while you think you getting the deal of a life time :mjlol:)

Always ask to see the offer from the bank. Thats your real interest rate.

This the one y’all should’ve posted :mjtf:

Not only that, they often don't even have any proof that you owe the debt. ie: They don't have the terms and agreements with your signature on it
Can't remember the name but I use to be on some credit forum where people shared response templates to send to the "legal department" of collection agencies. I had one agency take me to court......and they never showed up :dead:.
Know people who paid thousands of dollars to repair their credit. I was young and had time so just let 5 figures of defaulted credit card debt just roll off the statute of limitation limits. I was living at home and with girlfriends anyway and just stacking money so the 7 years was nothing, flew by :sas1:

Goodwill industries wants you to donate your old computers. They collect them and remove the gold from the monitors. Also all the clothes that you donate floats to and from every regional store until it sells. If and when it doesn’t it gets bailed up and shipped over seas to make insulation and shop rags. I used to work in their warehouse years ago

This goes for Sports Team/Online Team Stores (not affiliated with fanatics so there's only a few). Keep your first order under $200 or so, when it gets delivered, hit up customer service and claim you never got it. Process should take no more than 7-10 business days, and if you want get a refund or a replacement package (2 for 1)

A lot of laundromats have a folktale (not sure whatelse to call it) about a worker somewhere out there getting beat with a bag of quarters.
It's not a guarantee, but if you come in looking pissed and swinging the bag around, they might offer free service.

Also for a store called Vita*cost*.com, theyll refund your account I believe up to $150 (itemized) no questions asked, just select you "didn't like the item" and they'll refund it. Change emails once you get close to that threshold, and rinse and repeat. Try using different addresses if possible.

So what...they let you keep the product?

yup, like I said, keep it under that threshold, otherwise they flag your account and they review your refund requests. Otherwise, under the threshold, its automatic but do it an item or a few at a time.
