I used to pull credit reports at a lender and I remember fresh out of college i thought "huh...they must have pulled the reports backward because their mortgage balance goes up month over month. let me pull june...

...:dwillhuh:

*asks a vet*

"oh he's got a reverse am option arm. He's paying below the minimum or not at all :francis:"

"so...his rate is...hold up 7.5% and he doesn't pay anything and it just goes up?"

"yup...probably got laid off from GM...although his WFO [world's foremost outfitter...CABELAS :youngsabo:] account goes up monthly too :mjpls:"

i quit when this guy who owned his house free and clear on chicago st near outer drive in detroit started talking to us...by the end we bundled his ford explorer lease (bought it at retail value smfh), his sears balance of like $20k, a macy's card of like $5000, a discover card of like $15k, and GAVE HIM $30,000 cash, put it on his house...in detroit...in 2007. I never lied to him about anything, actually LOWERED his payments but guess what...he racked half that shyt up in a month of course. Disgustya. had to get out the game then...that shyt was really dirty even if I didn't lie or deceive him at all. oh and the economy was collapsing and subprime lenders were already going out of business

Should I dap this?? :dwillhuh:

God
DAMN

I wasn't the one calling the shots, I was just pressing the buttons.
But you were actually wheeling and dealing...
Sheeeeeit breh.
What branch were you in?

 i didn't pitch a loan package that back office wouldn't approve. Whats sketch though is that the 125% LTV 1st was sold to another bank 5 days after closing :wow:

I worked at the subprime arm of a major bank. if CLAO rings a bell, its them.

This is why we have problems in the world. People like you. I mean, you have no shame for what you've done. Hell, you even wish it continued. You're a money hungry piece of shyt.

I did exactly what you would have done. I was just in a place to do it while you weren't.

I wasn't calling shots at all. I was... 2 years out of college trying to build a career.

When Angelo Mozilo's (the CEO) nephew walks up to your desk and says, "Make this CLUES report an accept!" you make the CLUES report an accept.

Honestly I instantly stopped caring about this dude as a poster after reading it. In some of his relationship threads he came off as a selfish fukk, byt this more or less confirmed it

We don't need to mince words. I'm absolutely selfish, but not at all for any of the reasons I've outlined here.

I'm trying to give a fukk about you caring about me as a poster.... I'm trying... but it's just not happening. And you are a poster I very much respect for your honesty, so I guess our previously-mutual respect is a one-way street now. :yeshrug:

But it's important to make the distinction between the people calling the shots, and the people pushing the buttons.

You think I'm the former, while I was the latter.

I did exactly what you would have done.

Mozilio was such a finance gangsta man. Dude was on the cover of business week or something like that, the week before countrywide took an L with that ICED OUT SUPERBOWL RING ass Countrywide ring and cufflinks. Him, the CEOs of Wachovia and WaMu, and Charlie Scharf were the worst.

and, thats the thing, my floor was that i wasn't gonna lie. We were fresh graduates, in an ALREADY tough economy, about to crater...I lived in metro detroit and the auto industry was already starting to lay people off...so I used the gift of gab :manny:. That loan i described above though felt so filthy I had to go more mainstream.

But that was the crazy thing about that time.

You didn't even have to lie.

You told people, "If you pay the lowest option on this ARM, your principal balance will increase and you will owe an inflated balance at the end of the loan." and they still signed.

:wow:

my schpeil:

Good morning balding so hard I'm Ed Mothereffing G from Waystar Royco Bank how are you doing?

great

Ya know, in addition to financing that washing machine you did with Royco, we also look for ways to help our clients save money or improve their credit. With the information we have, I found a way we can keep your total payments the exact same for all of your debt, pay off all of the balances on your 4 credit cards, and pay off your house in 9 years.

[your reaction doesn't matter as long as you don't tell me to fukk off. And if you do I say 'well give it some thought this week and I'll reach out later this week :umad:]

In fact Baldingsohard, I could even lower your monthly payments by $300/mo and still pay off your home in 13 years...that saves you 17 years of interest which is over $500,000! I thought it made sense to reach out to you to discuss. Do you have some time to come by and talk about this tomorrow afternoon? Oh okay, how about tuesday; we'll grab lunch near your office"

it was already over. didn't tell a single lie, not gonna deceive you whatsoever, and you're sold. and if you pushed back that was the fun

"why the HELL would I want to refinance with Waystar Royco bank?"
"Honestly the bank doesn't matter baldingsohard...why would you not want to save $300 a month? AND improve your credit because you paid off all of your revolving debt? What about that doesn't make sense? Let me show you in person and if it's not a good fit, at least you know for sure :youngsabo:"

by the end he's at 110% LTV on his house, his payments ARE $300 lower, he IS on a 13 year term on his mortgage and I even gave him some payment flexibility with the ARM [i didn't do those much...i preferred high LTV than adjustable rates...shytty for a different reason]
