Brehs what the fukk is the first stage of Heisenberg on the village of shadows difficulty? I think I died on that part more times than literally every other death on this game put together

It was a breeze with the infinite Stake up until that boss, obviously you have no weapons and have to use that tank thing, but you only get hit 3 hits max before you’re dead without being able to hel, and he constantly charges, you can’t dodge them, you just have to time the cool down on the rocket perfectly to knock him away but sometimes you’re shyt out of luck if he decides to rush you twice in a row...it honestly took me 10 times at least

Right. When you're done, you get some points to spend for new weapons another playthrough (yeah, never), and I don't think you even get very many for that one.

3 bosses down and they’ve all been weak, even on hard difficulty. STILL enjoying the game and the story has me hooked but they really could have done better with the boss fights. I feel like there’s more tension with the normal enemies than with the bosses.

I feel like all of these boss fights outside of one belong in a different game

I went back to 7 since I never finished it. Man, 7 is like constant mode while Village was more palatable most of the time. Village felt more like RE4 with a dash of RE1 and RE5. Bienvenito's house was definitely on some P.T shyt though.

once your on the ground and can use the Stake


Only took 1 try to get through Chris's part

Miranda ate some rounds...but again Stake

How are we ranking this in terms of the series?

This goes near the top for me. RE2 Remake being a perfect game IMO.

Village has a nice balance. It tries a few different things, and it doesn't always work (the Chris part) but I really dig the overall gameplay and effort here

I beat this game a couple weeks ago. It's solid, but honestly Resident Evil is overrated as a scary game. Will have to give the scary trophy to The Last of Us, Dead Space, Alien Isolation, & soon Callisto Protocol.
