Yeah once you hit the factory the game gets a little trash. I’m on village of shadows difficulty and I don’t even feel like finishing despite getting 100k cp too much back tracking and the enemies are annoyingi didnt like the last hour of the game

This goes near the top for me. RE2 Remake being a perfect game IMO.
Village has a nice balance. It tries a few different things, and it doesn't always work (the Chris part) but I really dig the overall gameplay and effort here

Are the only clear definitively better games in the series IMO, but I still haven't beat the OG Resident evil yet, I've beaten 2 remake, 3 remake, 4, 5, 6 and 7 tho
