Really enjoying the game. I’m about 2 hours into the castle. Love the tension throughout the game, the sound design, graphics are amazing, story pacing feels great so far. Definitely glad I copped day one.

That part works a lot better in first person sure, because it’s not based on gunning lots of things down, that’s why it worked a lot better in 7

The Village > The Castle > House Beneviento

this was all great

Moreau Mines/Lake > Stronghold > Factory

This was all really average

I've played SH and DS2, I know of FF but never played it.

Shared 3rd and 1st person perspective is always trash unless it's like skyrim where you can choose one or the other.

1st person is simply more immersive, it gives you more of a sense of hopelessness if you cant see everything and you're scrambling around. When it's 3rd person it just feels like a "game".
