It was remade for the GameCube. It was a true remake for the timeframe.

Who agrees? Leon's chapter is one of the best the series has done, and Mercenaries was the shyt. There's a reason RE7 has been on sale damn near every month a year after its release.

RE6 literally almost tanked the series and bankrupt Capcom. Real talk if it wasn't for Capcom being influenced by P.T and making RE7 than the series would've been over with. RE7 literally saved Resident Evil as a franchise. RE2 Remake completely revitalized it. No disputing this.

It’s more of an action game, most people didn’t like it because it wasn’t typical survival horror
