This gets at a lot of that board's angst: They are attracted to people they can't get. If some white woman was like, "Oh, I'm not attracted to black guys," I wouldn't care and KIM. I wouldn't post about how racist it is not to be attracted to me and angst over it. But I've seen a long thread or two about how not being attracted to someone because of their skin color is racist. That's weirdo shyt to obsess over.

That place has also had posts about how not being attracted to trans people makes you transphobic. I mean, you can TRY to shame people into dating you, but it's probably not going to work.

In general, there are a lot of spaces on the internet where people get together and complain about not getting the relationships, dates, or sex that they think they're entitled to. People in general need to realize that no one owes them anything. But that's a whole other topic that is well outside the scope of this thread.

I think posts in this thread highlight why they tend to go "overboard" in providing a space for trans people. All that mocking shyt in here is lame.
I'm going to go out on what might be considered a limb here at the Coli and say that this thread doesn't really need to be dropping gay slurs in the title, IMO, but the underlying point a lot of the most recent posters are making is that their space is toxic.

Which all online spaces are to some degree, but they really feed off of, and at the same time fuel, each others' misery.

On top of that they super hypocritical about the shyt as well. If a straight dude wants to date a chick that doesn't want them then they need to respect that but if a transperson wants to date a straight person and the straight person doesn't want them then the straight person needs to analyze why and stop being transphobic.

Yeah. They would argue that it matters why the person doesn't want to date you and that there's a difference, but ultimately, someone who is not attracted to you is not going to change their mind because you argue that they're thinking incorrectly.

It's a microcosm of a larger issue people have with dating and rejection in American culture, IMO.

Yea its silly like the straight dude would be labeled an incel but the transperson would be labeled as oppressed. That ain't how the shyt works like you said ain't nobody entitled to anybody's affection or love. Need to get in where you fit in. They made the decision to transition and they gotta understand thats not what a lot of people want in a partner.
