Get your ass in the gym and get control of your diet. Get a hobby, volunteer in your community. I bet this fukker just sits around doing nothing crying that life doesn't hand him everything he wants. You kinda have to be the person you'd want to be with before others would want to be with you. I think the reality is if this person encountered someone like themselves they wouldn't be attracted to that sort of person either. Some people can't see past their own perspective to see that they're not attractive inside or out. They think they're entitled to love simply because they exist.
Life dealt them a bad hand but at some point you either decide I'm going to make a way or you decide I'm out can't do it.

They literally don’t believe in this concept though. They think their mental and physical problems are assets that other people must accept or else you’re a bigot. In reality being obese, mentally ill, dirty (bad hygiene) etc turns off normal people. And instead of addressing their issues these posters would rather kill themselves.
Well the gym is out, lost their job at Nissan. People said they were glad they spoke to their roommate.
They skimmed over the part where they said they were going back to the doc for more meds to kill themselves.
Punching holes in walls and tearing up clothing. Every suggestion people say requires money. I've been there.
Recovery and therapy is a lonely process, folks aren't usually ready for all that. This person may crash out and harm someone on the way out.
EDIT: Looks like OP spoke to their roommate and has calmed down a little. A little compassion goes a long way sometimes.
Nobody was walking through that door to save them. They have to decide if they're worth saving themselves and do it for themself. Sometimes life deals bad hands. There are children born in third world countries that starve to death through no fault of their own. Whatever that person was going through they could pick themselves up and dust themselves off from and have a better life if they chose.
It's not like they're ranting about having terminal cancer. As corny as it sounds every day above ground is another chance to turn it all around.
Just focus on remembering this for yourself. I choose to practice compassion.
We can agree to disagree and leave it at that.

I get it we're each the protagonist of our own story but some stories have boring protagonist that nobody would watch the series of. These suicidals don't seem to be the type to seek out opportunity they seem to just fold up because it didn't go their way.
I get it they had a hard life but nobody is walking through that door to fix it. It's up to you alone.
