At what point does McCarthy take the L? the hardliners are adamant that it doesn't matter if he gives them every last demand, they just don't trust him period. Can't have any kind of relationship without trust, let alone a leadership position.
He has nothing to lose, might as well go for broke.

I understand why the conservatives are doing this

But this doesn't make any sense, though. They're not even going back and forth with Democrats on this. They're just arguing with themselves. They literally have the control they wanted, and can't figure out how to use it. This is basically the same shyt they spent two years pointing and laughing at Democrats for, but worse, since they can't even go do their fukking jobs until this is done.
