They were both too dark and serious.

I stopped watching myself and Danny Rand is my favorite super hero

Nah, I think they are just too derivative of each other, overly long and each series missed the ball at least once...LC1 half of it was trash, JJ a lot didn't like it , DD2 half of it was trash, IF1 complete trash, and Defenders was trash with IF and everyone else in it fighting trashy ass, boring Hand villains :stopitslime:

By the time Punisher came out, the damage was done.

The insecure white people were never going to come back for a second season of Luke Cage after seeing how unapologetically black-centric the show was.
And Iron Fist was ass from the second they hired that hack who ruined Dexter and then cast Loras Tyrell as Danny rand.
The best shot they had with them was to skip giving them individual seasons and make a Heroes for Hire show instead.

Jessica Jones first season was good.

The second season was shyt with a shyt villain.

Luke Cage first season was good until the second half.

Bushmaster was the best thing in season 2. It definitely had its corny moments tho.

Luke Cage is known to be The Bulletproof man, yet EVERY single episode they try to kill him by shooting him :Ricoohreally:

I’m surprised no one brought up The Punisher. That first season was hit or miss.

Defenders was also dogshyt.

Overall like I said before, some of these shows should have less episodes.

Daredevil is damn near flawless.

Second half of S2 of DD had generic ninja shyt. I know it's apart of his comics, but that shyt was still lame.

Iron Fist was so shytty it's killed the whole universe.

Luke Cage season 2 wasn't great, they must've changed the writing, alot of cringe dialogue and moments, and all them non Jamaican's acting Jamaican really irked me.

Daredevil and Punisher can go on, rest can go in the trash.

I wasnt feeling LC from the moment they killed Cottonmouth. Killing off of the most compelling and charismatic character halfway through the season was asinise. Like, blatant stupidity. Very seldom does the red herring antagonist bait and switch pan out. Diamondback was absolutely atrocious in comparison, and the Shades' actor annoyed the living fukk out of me to the point that I wanted to skip his scenes. I was going to watch season 2, but I lost interest early and went straight into DD S3. Never watched Iron Fist as the actor playing Danny is a blackhole of charisma and the word was that the fight scenes were terrible quality for a guy who was supposed to be the greatest martial artist in the MCU. I made it halfway through JJ's first episode and checked out.

I'm not surprised LC & IF bit the bullet. I'm in DD S3 Ep 5 and it's already better than DD S2. I thought the Punisher had some bloat in the middle but I enjoyed it. Hell, Bernthal as Frank Castle was the major highlight of S2 DD imo, and I'll be there for season 2. I couldn't care less about JJ or IF, but I was rooting for Luke. It's a shame it didn't work out. I think the Defenders being such a mediocre letdownn was the death knell for what was already -- in LC & IF cases -- average shows. They honestly could have made the Defenders Marvel's street level Avengers and put out an actual 2 hour film on Netflix instead of the season we got. Would have trimmed a lot of the fat too, but if the story is still hackneyed and the individual characters poorly received, there's not much you can do to convince people to invest.

Exactly. Not saying both shows didn't deserve to get the boot cause both of them were steaming piles of post mexican food truck shyt. but that's the benefit and joy of Netflix originals is that you don't have to watch them the week they drop cause it's going to be there when you get ready.
It's seasons of stuff like Narcos and Ozark and the new Making a Murderer I still haven't gotten to and not gonna really worry about getting to.
Facts. If the numbers don't spike during Thanksgiving and Christmas then I'd be worried. But right now people have more than enough on their plate.

These characters just aren’t interesting enough to watch for 10 hours each year. We’ve had 10 hours of iron man in 10 years, can’t expect people to jump at the chance to see 10 hours of Jessica Jones and her friend every year.

I haven’t watched anything since defenders. I liked the first seasons of DD and Luke cage, but there’s just not enough there to keep me coming back.
