Y'all seem to be kissing a key point. Luke Cage season 1 had a lot of black female watchers, it was huge with them. That's the demographic that a show like that would want to attract. Season 2 didn't have that at all. Definitely nowhere near the numbers for season 1. Look at social media, and see how engaged they were. It's not even close. Then they went back and watched season 1 of Jessica Jones, which they could easily identify with. Iron Fist was always gonna be the least watched, but I think Punisher has just as few as Rand.

Hell, Punisher was done after season 2, with or without the recent cancellations. Ask yourself this, why did they have all of these shows ready to go by the end of 2018? They went from 2 shows a year to everyone this year? Even though JJ will probably drop 1st QTR. Punisher had the quickest turnaround.

DD latest season didn’t get the same ratings as the previous.

Something tells me this has more to do with the fact that Disney getting they own service and Netflix trynna make a move first to save face vs this actuall being about “ratings”

There a few shows that’s have lost viewship or get no views like that but they continually develop

I don’t mind either show getting canceled. That shyt was garbage...:yeshrug:

Iron Fist was garbage from jump. Luke fell off when cottonmouth died and some :flabbynsick: nikka in dikkies and a helmet showed up.

You tripping:diamondsmug:

Diamondback to me was when the series picked up! He was that dude:diamondrejoice:

@MartyMcFly and @portcityplaya so I did a quick check and it turns out the Season 1 premiere of Luke Cage was 9/30 and season 2 was 6/22. I can't imagine a summer premiere being successful. I would think releasing a series around thanksgiving or christmas would be the bst to maximize viewers.

How many people are actually trying to spend their summer days/nights inside watching a 13 episode show?

Summer premieres work now tho. At least in our new ways of watching tv and all that jazz. So I wouldn’t put it on that. Tv don’t stop anymore lol. Sadly. And people still got jobs so they not out partying everyday during the summer. You watch when you watch. But again it goes back to none of us know Netflix’s numbers we just use second or third hand info.

But maybe you’re right breh. Anecdotally, I know my people watched it this summer.
