Mo did "Can't Let U Go" with Fab in 2003, so...

That's probably the 2nd biggest record she did, so the Angie record didn't kill her.

Her career pretty much faded away gradually after that... I remember she was doing radio in Bmore around '03... then she put some other record out in '04 that went nowhere and that was that.

Angie Martinez :scusthov: Who was she blowing to keep having albums released in the early 2000's. Always with the struggle seductive songs while everyone knew she a bull dyke. She like the puerto rican queen latifah with less then 1/10th the talent. And lil mo was trash who only appealed to the deepest of hoodrats. I'm talking stage five, rainbow microbraids/five inch glitter nails/Jordan stilleto rocking bytches.

At least she was discreet about it, she's a baby muva.

And now

Unfortunately Angie didn't age well like this. Angie now looking like a Gremlin

As a matter of fact J-Lo is older and been around longer. lol.
"Age well", if Jennifer Lopez is the standard for "aging well", I've never seen anyone aging will and probably never will. If I was old, Angie would most definitely be fukkable.

And BTW that joint is classic :whew:
No female MC's putting out joints that could bang in the clubs like that joint right there .

LOL @ Lil' Mo ending Nicole Wray's career. Nicole Wray's peak was "Make It Hot". She had another single from her debut of the same name, but it wasn't anywhere as huge. She dropped "Bangin'" featuring Prodigy produced by Timbaland, but it went nowhere. In fact, Eminem's "Tylenol Island" is bigger and that song is just the beat from "Bangin" with his verses from Missy's "Bus A Rhyme". Afterwards, Nicole appeared on Missy's Da Real World, and signed to the Roc some years later.

Lil' Mo and Nicole Wray definitely didn't peak at the same time. Lil' Mo had a couple of hits of her own (they both featured Fabolous) from 2001-2002. Nicole Wray peaked in '98.

:laff: for a second, ja rule was actually one of the biggest heads in r&b and that DUDE COULD NOT fukkING SING. him and ashanti's duets were godawful together. :smh: and most people were all fronting like they were tight too UNTIL 2003 when 50 cent blew up. i'll never forget how folks that were all up on ja rule's dikk suddenly were disowning that dude fronting like they didn't own any of his albums or were singing his r&b love ballads. shows you how many people will follow instead of going along with their heart.

I take it you aint see michel'le in that colorful catsuit.

:whew:

things were WAY MORE SERIOUS when missy was rapping tho.

I do agree about the high energy part. I remember the "get ur freak on" being one of my favorite singles in '01. the original version.
I did. I'd fukk her. Her nose job is all over the place though. She could still get it.

People still hating on that shyt.

Looking back all those joints were "nikkas will by my album and claim they got it for their sister" material.

Always on time, Put it on me, Down ass chick, Thug Lovin, Between me and you :ahh:
All those joints will turn up any joint in 2013.

I remember 50 going super hard at Ja Rule for dropping those joints and flat out turned around and made wacker pop songs lol.
