shyt i hated this era of rnb/rap. Those tepid ass tin-sounding drums. Those dumb ass computerized guitar loop. Every song sounded like Fiesta mixed with some Ja Rule bullshyt

for a second, ja rule was actually one of the biggest heads in r&b and that DUDE COULD NOT fukkING SING. him and ashanti's duets were godawful together. and most people were all fronting like they were tight too UNTIL 2003 when 50 cent blew up. i'll never forget how folks that were all up on ja rule's dikk suddenly were disowning that dude fronting like they didn't own any of his albums or were singing his r&b love ballads. shows you how many people will follow instead of going along with their heart.
