And in addition to that they used Christianity to justify slavery and manifest Destiny. White people told blacks and Native Americans that God is white and Jesus is white. Essentially what that means is white people felt they were closer to God than the "colored" people. And it's not like when brown peope convert to Christianity that white people see them as any more human than they did before. History is really fukked up.

I got no beef with christian/muslims. I like science fiction and crazy stories like that.

Its just odd when people actually believe that its true and try to influence other people to believe their fairy tales.

Imagine if u knew some nikka who was tryna convince u that Jedi Knights and Sith Lords were real and ur soul was the battlefield, u'd give the nikka the face. That's how I feel whenever I run into a religious person that actually believes that the bible/quran is true.

Most Buddhist I know don't really give a shyt if Buddha existed or not, and won't even argue for his existence. Its pretty much irrelevant to them. They just agree with the philosophy and found that it gives them peace. If more christians/muslims thought that way the world would be a slightly better place. Especially in the middle east.


Why are muslims so damn violent and willing to become non existent beings for an invisible sky daddy? It saddens me to see suicide bombers throwing their life away for a lie. Parenting and society is to blame. if these guys had a rigorous science and religious history education as children things probably wouldn't be this way.

I never thought about it til just now but you know what really throws a wrench in it? Literacy rates. Why were religious books being written in a times where literacy was damn near nonexistent??? only the richest/most educated knew how to read, for the longest, so what purpose did these books serve to the common man? Aside from bein recognized as sacred words

Actually there is proof to religion, Moses split the red sea, Jesus walked on water, and the prophet Mohammed pbuh was an illiterate man who delivered the word of god, the Koran, proof of its divinity is in its poetical aspect, being the Arabic worlds greatest poetical literature.

I'm going to be as blunt as possible. I don't think there is anything wrong with HAVING FAITH. Believe what you want. Rich people aren't making business decisions based on what "The lord told them to do". They do it based off of real world, tangible mathematics and logic. Poor people think that focusing on religion is the best way to better their situation. Yes there are drug dealers who do that for money as well. I'm not talking about them. Obviously if you're doing illegal activities you could care less about God. Religion is a way to make law abiding people complacent where they are. I just wanted to let you know my stance. If you disagree with that then that's ok. I just want to clarify what it is that you're disagreeing with.

God can do anything and god puts people in situations for various reasons. The poetic aspect was to attract then people.
