Religion is a tricky situation, on the whole. Spirituality is extremely pervasive, commonly felt, and not universally understood. Religion provides a framework and structure to spirituality, in a way that the average person can readily hold on to, especially if exposed to that at an early age, or in a way that is somewhat appealing to the sensibility of one's desire to understand or reconcile their spirituality.
But the idea that the "rich" don't utilize religion as a means of their overall sensibility is ridiculous. Many of the most powerful individualis in the history of mankind have used religion as a means to an end. Adoption and true belief aren't exclusionary.

I'm on the iPad now, and am lazy to link stuff, but stories of the prophet Mohammad are well documented, and stories of Moses and Jesus are well documented in the Koran. As much as youd like to believe, people don't blindly follow these things.
God can do anything, doesn't mean god does it. He could also give u faith but chosen not too.
A book like the Koran can not be made by man.

Maybe to you, and at the end of the day, that's just your reconciliation of what that word means to you.
There are tons of people in these current days and times that will readily admit that they may not be religious, but that they are spiritual, so it's not a fancy sounding word...it's a way of people expressing their expression of their faith.

Religion divides people more than it brings people together. I can't wait until all religions get merged this December.
I got no beef with christian/muslims. I like science fiction and crazy stories like that.
Its just odd when people actually believe that its true and try to influence other people to believe their fairy tales.
Imagine if u knew some nikka who was tryna convince u that Jedi Knights and Sith Lords were real and ur soul was the battlefield, u'd give the nikka theface. That's how I feel whenever I run into a religious person that actually believes that the bible/quran is true.
Most Buddhist I know don't really give a shyt if Buddha existed or not, and won't even argue for his existence. Its pretty much irrelevant to them. They just agree with the philosophy and found that it gives them peace. If more christians/muslims thought that way the world would be a slightly better place. Especially in the middle east.
Why are muslims so damn violent and willing to become non existent beings for an invisible sky daddy? It saddens me to see suicide bombers throwing their life away for a lie. Parenting and society is to blame. if these guys had a rigorous science and religious history education as children things probably wouldn't be this way.
