i dont know... on one hand i love reggie but on the other.... sequels are rarely if ever as good as the OG

why call it muddy waters too? why not call it something else?

reggie in front of the house gives me weirdo MMLP2 vibes. i wonder if hes going to try something like that

god i hope not

but i will wait until tomorrow. some people shyt on reggies newer stuff but 'slap the shyt outcha' is still one of my favorite tracks ever so fukk em :salute:

I wonder if this has a lot of music on it from when he was working on this album like 10+ years ago. I remember Khrysis was working on Redman with some Muddy Waters 2 stuff back in the early 2010's.

Production sounds good. Redman sounds good. I think Erick Sermon only did 'Don't You Miss' but Red did a good job.

Its not very Muddy Waters sounding, but as with Missionary, I wasn't expecting that anyway.
Ya it's feeling like the skeleton of the old album structure without him overly chasing nostalgia. It's better than I thought so far

Truth.

Once he started doing outside sh*t and the music started becoming too comical and jokey, he was a wrap.

1. Those movie scripts were coming in too. I wish that Meth and Red had a Cheech and Chong movie series.

2. Watch Red’s MTV Cribs episode where he shows his DVD collection and says that’s where he gets his ideas from and then listen to Malpractice.

3. Let’s not act like Redman didn’t give Luda a lane to run with.

Oddly enough when Malpractice came out, Def Jam was pushing the hell outta Luda.

Red becoming a comedian was good but no one tried him like they did with Mobb Deep(Hammer really checked him but he was in the wrong)

I appreciate that this is already stickied :obama:

Speaking of, got a long run in the morning but the blueberry muffin is on deck for afterwards so I can sit down with this album and enjoy it the way it was meant to be :ahh:
