I hate to say it, but he's lost his touch.
Erick didn't seem happy about it in his interview with Toure. Basically said Red could've been a Top 5 GOAT if he stayed in the lane that they started in together, when he was working on the albums with him heavily.

Before Muddy Too dropped I was thinking of this interview alot. When it dropped I did feel Redman did deliver.
However, on another note Eric knows the deal.
It's almost like fukk the industry Redman could be developed into a lyrical giant even greater than he is.
All Redman fans need to listen to that Eric part in this video.
It's tricky what he says about Red and Meth. It's true they did kind of sway away from a gritty sound.
However I believe it's like they had to for the industry - and it did work for both commercial and underground fans.
And they pack shows.
If Darkside two comes out it has to be only dark, hardcore with some funk. Redman, Rockwilder and Sermon on production.
