Whole package album, a rarity these days without the larger recording budgets of yesteryear.

  • Raps
  • Production
  • Recording
  • Mix / Mastering
Reggie showing how it's done in 2025.
Production actually sounds high quality to me. My nikka tall black guy got a credit on this album too.

Redman studied Ice Cube, NWA, G rap, Krs and showed love to them EARLY!

He is an example of what an emcee who came from poverty and rose up with success and respect is all about.

He carried Hip Hop forward.

Hip Hop is in need of ppl like him.

We do have WSG, Griselda, Em, Necro, doing the same.

We need more.

History is clearly telling us hoes and money rap falls off and fast.

Look at 2 Live crew, Puffy, even Jay Z is Shakey regardless of millions.

DMX and Redman were bothered when Jay up and left off Def Jam.

edit: I've been bumpin Looka Here ft KRS ONE like crazy, I love this track

Im gona listen to redmans trifecta this week. 3 perfect classics in a row. One of the best 3 album runs of all time. I’m gona give this more spins too. I probably like 30 percent of it right now maybe some more songs will grow on me but i wish we got that updated sermon style from the first muddy waters. Eric sermons beats from that era are some of the best of any producer. Anytime you heard Erick sermons grimy funkybeats from that time period from those years from that time period in the 90s you just knew they were going to be 🔥. That’s why Erick sermons one of the best ever. Top 10 greatest of all time it wouldve only been right if he produced the bulk of the album. Like someone said somewhere above that this sounds more like docs da name 2 then a true muddy waters 2. There may be a couple of tracks that fit that style on this album. The cover art is perfect, I just wished we got the proper Erick sermon input with his updated mw2 sound and some fire beats from the stash from the 90s og mw time period sprinkled in there. That would’ve been 🔥 i think. Erick sermon still can drop fire, the beat he had on Conway from king to a god album was complete flames 🔥

Nah, Rae's been sitting on 3 for over a decade plus now :manny:
For good reason. The "sequel never delivers" trope was overcome already. The rarity of that means a third of the name is a stretch.

Rae knows what weight OB4CL has and that 3 ain't living up to it. The "greedy" sentiment is expecting 3 to measure up, not how fast he can put it out.
