i always said, only on hip hop forums does eminem not even make top 20 lists. any credible mc, or even hip hop mind in general, has eminem easily in their top 20, arguably top 10, of all time. ask nas and hov and cube and rakim and them where they rank eminem, i'd bet you he is in all of their top 10 ever. a lot of the shyt he raps about aint really my bag but the technical skills, the song making ability (yall sleep on his hooks, he always been dope at formatting records), the extreme gymnastics he does with words, and the fukkin STATS are undeniable, even attempting to deny it is corny, like you hatin for some other unimportant reasons. i fukk with the "Marshall Mathers LP" eminem moreso than the 100% speed rap, whiteboy motivation anthem eminem, but nah, he 17 years deep commercially, he has earned his respect and his place in the history books.

Typical Em fans are NOT rap fans. Every random CAC that had no clue about rap when asked their fav rapper of course says Eminem.



That CAC stimulus is not reflective of a rap audience just shows that cacs will cac.

Em is one of the greats guys, sorry to break it to you. I think he's a top 15 MC of all time time. He has the verses, the catalogue, the skills and he's more than put the work in. Even though I really haven't liked anything he has done since Relapse, he's got strong enough case to be considered a top MC.

Jay-Z is one of the few rappers that are equally proficient sped up or slowed down. He may be a corporate slut, but he is one of the most diverse rappers from a technical standpoint to pick up the mic.
