Well I can't speak on your situation as I don't know the specifics.
I'm telling you "they're not f*cking with me" isn't necessarily a factor though.
These guys gave me a place to live when I was homeless as a teen. We'd put together enough money to get a hamburger from McDonald's, and split that sh*t.
If we had food, everybody ate. We literally gave each other the clothes off our backs, in some cases.
So this is a level of loyalty most people do not see, or experience.
I'm telling you cats do not have time like we did, back then. Some of us work completely different schedules. Some gotta go pick their kids up. Some gotta deal with sick family members, their mom, whatever.
Hell, I like to walk. Yesterday I walked 10 miles. None of them cats are gonna do that.
Nor do I expect them to. I don't care about sports, a couple of them went out of town to watch a Chiefs game. I like to read....are they gonna sit here and watch me read?
The love and loyalty is there but the time isn't. It's as simple as that. I went and seen "Infinity War" day 1 with one of these cats....he literally had to stay up 24 hours to make it happen. Due to his schedule being f*cked up. If that's what we gotta do to see each other I'd rather just text. We're old now.
Fred.
