4) Will I still be able to play the CrossfireX campaigns?

  • If you have previously purchased either of the single player campaigns, then you will be able to enjoy and complete them until servers close on May 18, 2023 – 00:00 UTC.
So basically 1 year and 3 months and your single player campaign is bricked due to the servers going down. This is why single player doesn’t need to be tied to servers being online. Future generations will never be able to experience the single player of CrossfireX.

How long will Redfall last until it’s gone forever in any form?

These online single player only games are also art people worked on and their work is being buried and silenced forever.

Making live service games is high risk/high reward. It’s unfortunate but any artist in any medium will tell you that shyt happens and not every project works out or even sees the light of day. The game bombed on all fronts, it is what it is:manny:

All this concern trolling from people who aren’t even planning on playing the game is ridiculous tho. This is a CO-OP MULTIPLAYER GAME ON GAMEPASS. It’s 2023 if you have a next gen console it is connected to the internet 99% of the time. If you plan on playing thru gamepass, you’re already tied to online:heh:

If people are truly clamoring for RedFall 15 years from now I’m sure they’ll have made an offline mode by then like other games have done. Nobody who actually plays looter shooters or multiplayer-focused games is phased by this. I ain’t tryna hear you cry about the fate of a game you’ll never play 15 years from now

This 100 percent.

It's just something to bad mouth Xbox about to keep it real. @Gizmo_Duck already trolling with the tread title change.

On top of that anything almost everything is hacked or modded now.

I have the crack version of the sf6 beta (even tho I don't play it) so if the game got cancelled today. I still would have access to it "15 years later"

Nothing on the internet is gone forever nowadays.

My my how the narrative has changed since this thread

@MeachTheMonster literally droning on for pages about the ‘always online’ for a multiplayer focused game but has no energy for a single player game being required to be played online. You even called out @winb83

And he wasn’t the only one in that thread doing a massive swerve :sas2:

Bringing up those threads isn’t the flex you think it is. Those threads existed to expose you clowns hypocrisy and you are only bringing it back up here.

Wondering if we are gonna get a @winb83 thread about how "anti-consumer" this is.

Or a @Fatboi1 post about the poor guys on submarines that can't play the game:jbhmm:

:mjlol:

Sony stan’s were vehemently against always online games, day one patches, etc.

Countless posts about how anti-consumer those practices were and how sony would NEVER do that. Of course they DID do it and we heard nothing from the @winb83 s of the board.

Just like now y’all beating the” GAAS bad” drum

But will be first in line to play and defend all the GAAS stuff sony is working on.

All you’ve done is reminded the board how hypocritical you stan’s are.

I’ve always supported a connected digital future
Nope, you can have a totally single player experience with the crew. But you still have to be "always online"

It's the future, embrace it:blessed:

As usual i was correct about where the industry was going and the rest of you had to keep flip flopping to keep up with your stan arguments :ehh:

So you’re telling me live service multiplayer games will require you to be online?:ohhh:

Talk to me when Ghost of Tsushima 2 or Wolverine requires and online connection
